A slow burn edge of your seat type of drama

This drama is very intense from the get go, it’s also fascinating and one that you really have to sit down and pay attention to. And have a lot of patience for, because there are so many different players. Often with this crime/police dramas it is fun if we the audience get to “play along” and see if we can figure things out. I have had debates with my own brother (also watching this drama) about what Wu Zhenfeng is about and who are the real good guys and bad guys. It doesn’t sugar coat how the drug world is and sometimes it can be super harrowing (to a certain degree). The dynamic between Yu Chen & Wu Zhenfeng is one of the many main elements to way this drama is thoroughly enjoyable. I’m rooting for Yu Chen whilst at the same time trying to figure out what the heck Wu Zhenfeng is doing and yes I’m rooting for him as well - half the time it’s for him not to get killed …it’s hella stressful. The police side of it is a whole another thing - we are meant to be confused and suspicious of mostly everyone (as much as Yu Chen is tbh). At the time of writing I have seen 18 episodes and it is shifted to being super worried at Yu Chen’s actions and the road he’ll take after what has happened with Wu Zhenfeng.
