Though Lu Fan Ning is developing true feelings for Ling Rui, he thinks her feelings for him are spurred on by competition with Tang Ping and for her own selfish reasons. From her ballet lessons, Tang Ping figures out that the marriage between Lu Fan Ning and Ling Rui is based on money owed to Lu Fan Ning. She begins pursuing Ling Rui and things come to a head with Lu Fan Ning when they have a bidding war at the hospital auction. (Source: MyDramaList)
