The chemistry tho
I've really like Zhao Lusi since Romance of Tiger & Rose and she is just as great in this even though the her character is this is completely different as the martially adept, charismatic and daring Bai Feng xi . Yang Yang is dashing and passionate as Hei Feng xi and their chemistry is off the charts . Loved the story as well . It is full of intrigue and twists and I feel like everyone got the ending they deserved. Plenty of light hearted and cute scenes between the two leads. I would have liked maybe a few more episodes to flesh out the ending a bit but overall I loved the show and would definitely rewatch .Was this review helpful to you?
Power Couple Epic Story
If you like power couple typical series - Who Rule The World definetely will be your favourite.The casting is perfect. Yang Yang and Lu Si were the right choice for Hei Fenxi/Feng Lanxi and Bai Fengxi/Feng Xiyun - can't imagine other actor/actress for this.
The character of these duo like yin yang but the respectful and understanding between them is hilarious, eventhough in the first 3 episodes, you can see misunderstanding Bai to Fei but it's not continuing as you can see often in tipical c-drama (which make me bored).
Despite the responsibility for their each kingdom, they know what is the most important for them at the end.
The scoring - well ..... I love all, of course one of my fave scoring specialist Yu Ning contribute there :)
It's worth to re-watch indeed.
Hope will see Yang Yang and Lu Si in modern or xianxia series ^_^

Individually they're superiors, together they're a team
Who Rules The World remains ON TOP.The idea that Hei Fengxi appreciated Bai Fengxi since the beginning but the story didn't exclusively revolve around their love story. Their characters grew by themselves while having each other around— the best kind of growth. Individually they were superiors, together they're a team.
Amazing female empowerment, too. BFX was not just a damsel in distress, she was smart and skilled by herself, and HFX was just a support to her.
After watching several CDramas in this theme, i've never seen sun war stories (about nations, about family) be told so well. Sometimes, I come back to cleanse my palate after a terribly told political plot in another periodical CDrama.

Great drama, great pace and good acting!
A MUST WATCH if you love YY and LS!What can I say? The whole drama was well paced, covering sufficiently for every character. I loved how despite the odds against the ML, the ones who were by his side stayed true to him despite everything like ML’s elder brother who didn’t even share the same mother as him and always supports ML against his younger bro who he shares the same mum/dad.
I also liked how the drama didn’t focus on love triangle and Qiwu backing out of the “love triangle” and forming a great relationship with the FL.
The acting of all characters were good. OST a little weak as there were only 1-2 main songs played throughout the show.
The ending was done in a great way where it is a little open as we all know how there’s the presence of the magical flower. Hopefully a S2?
All in all, a great paced drama with no episodes of boredom!

Breathtaking drama
Excellent drama. The plot is very impressive, it takes me to an ancient time that boredom doesn't exist, everything is done to be perfect. Each actors and actresses gives justice to their character. You can see that they had it prepared and practice each lines of their dialogue to put an emotion that audience can really feel the satisfaction. I am fan of Zhao lusi and yes, she nailed it. She portrays different kinds of emotion, sometimes she shows her badass role, then funny role and as a normal person who feel the love of Yang yang but she hards to think him as a man. Her fighting skills very impressive so also Yang Yang. I know they struggle to do those scenes but they perfect it.The chosen setting of the drama are really suitable for every scene, you can really see its relevant to the drama. The editing are perfect, as if all the fighting skills where protagonist and antagonist are naturally done by them. The transition are all good.
For the background song, its all suitable to the drama, it added a strong emotion and feelings of it.
I really suggest to rate this drama as high as 10, the overall output are so goood. Can't wait for the next episodes.

High budget series
Great acting, great cinematography, epic fight scenes. And not boring storyline. Can tell its s high budget series.Love Yang Yang and Zhao Lusi. They are really good actor and actresses. Perfect in looks and perfect for each other.
All the supporting casts are also very very good. My top 3 series of all time.
The fighting scenes are sooo good. And there is romance and comedy in it as well. Give you a happy and good feeling after watching it. It's really amazing. Watch it and judge for yourself.

You can't miss such a wonderful WUXIA drama!!
I was looking forward to this drama before it was broadcast! Because Yang yang and Zhao Lusi are well-known Chinese actors, and I am also a fan of costume drama. I especially like the clothing and culture of that era, so I pay close attention to this drama. I've watched 10 episodes, which didn't disappoint me. Both the cast and the martial art scenes met my expectations.I saw Yang yang's "You Are My Glory" and "The King’s Avatar" before. Both of them are modern dramas. This drama is the first time I saw his costume drama. He perfectly fits the role. Hei Fengxi is a man with strong force, intelligence and strategy. Yang yang plays this role very brilliantly.
I have also seen Zhao Lusi's "The Romance of Tiger and Rose". She plays a lively and lovely girl, but in this drama, Zhao Lusi plays a Jianghu leader. She is valiant and wise, which is completely different from her previous role.
ML and FL are also very matched. The chemical between them is very magical. They are both well-known figures in the Jianghu. Finally, they love each other. The story line attracts me very much!

Best couples as two best artists took the lead role.
Specially I'm always a die hard fan of yang yang and and good fan of zhao lusi. That's the main reason to watch this drama for me. But it's worthwhile to watch as everything is fine and best, which has Been won over my first reason to watch. I'm rating 10 out of 10 for this drama. Foremost I would like to thank for the director to give such an amazing onscreen couples yang yang and zhao lusi. Everything is beautiful in the drama such as costumes, dialogues, bgms, screening, translations, action scenes and specially the story of the drama. The female lead and the male lead is such a superior actors to put their best efforts to enjoy the drama and other cast and crews too. Everyone has did it well. I'm waiting for the other episodes to aired soon.. Love the drama. And I suggest everyone to watch if anyone who is interested in watching a drama all the time. Again love you so much yang yang 😘. great wuxia drama 2022
This drama tells the story of the feud between the six states, where later the main character will try to save the world and bring peace.the storyline is interesting and straight forward with just a little filler to the past.
displays many interesting battles even though until this episode 12, its full power has not been shown. very comfortable to watch with stunning CGI effects that make the fight not too stiff.
the music presented is also pleasant to listen to and will make you curious about the long version.
So far, this drama is pretty good and deserves a rating above 8.

Loving chemistry
First of all ..I love lusi and yangyang..
I already watch their dramas... And it was good.
Just hearing my favorite actors team up, i was very excited..
And this two never fail my expectations..
They were a great actors ..
Kudos to the director, producer, and all the production team of this drama..
Fighting stunts were great, effects.. scenery and the costumes were very great..
I Highly recommend this drama..
One of the best Chinese drama i've watch...

Amazing Couples
such a beautiful drama! the chemistry between the leads was so insane,some people did not like the politics of the show but I LOVED it, it added more to the main leads story and we got to see more evil villains!
the romance was so beautiful, I cried at every scene bc I was so happy for them! when they cried I cried!
I love how everyone supported her and did not take her to be “weak” she is such a strong female character and we need more of these! and the male lead was so smart, and such a green flag!
please watch this drama! I promise it’s so good, the ending is so good and worth it! this and the long ballad are my fav dramas iv ever seen in the cdrama world!!

I just cannot get over with this drama
Salute to the casts and staff. The plot is epic, the music is beautiful.The drama points out the gender equality issue and explicitly emphasize the equality between man and woman. I really love the scene where the male lead was asked by his father, when he marry whether he become the king and his female lead become his consort or vice versa. And he answered, "Neither!They both will be ruling"
I have been a fan of Zhao Lusi since the romance of tiger and rose. I must say this time, Lusi's role become a mature one. And I love that! As a heroine, she has her own aspiration and value, but when she is needed by her people, she is answering the duty call well.
This is my first time watching yang yang. And I fall in love with him. He is so damn good! I can feel the cobflict between hei feng xi and feng lanxi within him.
It's really hard to move on and get over with this drama. WRTW is officially my all time favourite wuxia drama. 40 episodes seems not enough. I need another season of WRTW.
