It breaks my heart to give a bad review because…

It breaks my heart to give a bad review because I initially loved everything about this drama: the main leads, the secondary characters, the story, everything. I just don't know why the writers decide to ruin the entire series in the last episode. WHY WOULD JOON, WHO IS A SWEETHEART AND CARING GUY pretend to die and make rara and all his friends grieve for years to show up years late with "surprise I'm actually alive lol", mrs. kim actually DIED thinking joon had died too like????? WHY WOULD ANYONE DO THAT?????? I CAN'T BELIEVE I RUINED MY EYELINER CRYING BECAUSE HE "DIED". I don't know if rara just was hallucinating or not because otherwise, it would be plain cruel

Unique and charming series until it became a kdrama fever dream mad lib

It pains me to give this once enchanting show less than an 8. The actors were amazing and I became so attached to both the main and supporting cast. However, the writers ruined everything in the final four episodes. They already had a unique and interesting conflict to work with from beginning to end, but instead they decided to introduce more unnecessary and poorly executed problems that the characters responded to with absurd decisions that made absolutely no sense. It was like they were filling in a kdrama trope fever dream mad lib. I’ve never felt this disappointed in a series.

Not Cool At All

The final episode is a big NO for me. Took a fun feel good series and completely destroyed it.As someone who has lost loved ones to cancer I do not appreciate when writers use it just to bring out an emotional response from the viewers.Making people you love believe you are dead for five years is not something a thoughtful person like Jun would do. He knows how painful it is to lose someone suddenly! Why would he ever put RaRa and his friends through that? How on earth would that be better than being able to be by his side and support him while he does his treatment? Ridiculous.

Incredible...

Omg...I just can't stop these waterfalls, there were too many emotions. I just watched the last 3 episodes and I'm completely speechless. This is definitely one of my favourite dramas of all time.
