Bali Hong Yi investigates Gao Bing Zhu and finds his lair. Bali Hong Yi wants to give a present to the princess. Bali Hong Yi asks about the charcoal. Bali Hong Yi goes with Gao Bing Zhu to investigate the copper. They see a person sneaking out at night and follow him even though they know it is a trap. They are surrounded and fight to escape, but Bali Hong Yi falls and Gao Bing Zhu leaves him behind. Gao Bing Zhu gets a horse and comes back to save Bali Hong Yi. Bali Hong Yi goes back to report his findings. When he returns the factory is transformed into something else. (Source: jindreame at MyDramaList)

SPOILERS

Gao and Erlang go to a village and find out that the inhabitants are not what they seem to be and cannot drink the water there. This leads them upriver where in a secret workshop laborers work with the stolen copper. The laborers take a notice of the two intruders and chase them. While Erlang is injured, Gao rescues him and asks him to go back and he is vanished to an unknown direction. In the meantime, family Liu's supporters become aware of the troubles surrounding them and go to beg the empress for forgiveness, but she ignores them. In the meantime, Siyue visits Erlang's wife to find out about his whereabouts but he shows up eventually. Later, Gao visits Liu Xiang and makes it clear to him that he is not interested in this copper smuggling business but only to find the Chuing Divine, but to his surprise Liu Xiang claims to be the one he is looking for.
