XF's belief about the River of Oblivion in Danchi

What would XF do knowing that her husband kills her grandfather which leads to her mom's suicide and her madness?Knowing that she will possibly marry LCY if she goes to the Central Plains makes XF feeling hopeless in trying to make LCY pay for his deeds. What's the best way for XF to forget all tragic events that have occured in her life? Jumping into the river of oblivion seems to be best choice because she believes in the local myth about people being able to forget their unhappy love or tragic event in their life.XF had attempted to find out the truth about the river of oblivion in the first episode thinking Dimo, her personal servant, had forgotten her after drinking the water from the river.XF's naivety takes over once more.
