Sam Saeng is so hungry that she eats up Bong Chul's wild ginseng. Bong Chul scolds Sam Saeng a great deal and Bong Mu Ryong feels sorry for her. 8 years later, Sam Saeng, now 12 years old, is still being raised by Mak Rye who is always scolding Sam Saeng. Helping out the family by selling herbs in the market, Sam Saeng competes with Dong Woo who also sells herbs. Meanwhile, Bong Mu Ryong visits Dae Gu to buy new medicinal herbs. (Source: KBS WORLD TV)
