Last scene: all drama, no reality

I get that the last scene was written that way for the drama, but in reality, I think Vincenzo would have done the same thing he did with the killers sent for him in the first episode when he was still in Italy. No gloating or triumph, just a quick finish before the enemy even knew what happened. He’s not an amateur and would not take the risk of having a final “moment” with his enemy. What do you guys think?
EDIT: Of course, now that I've seen the following episode it makes sense. lol

His Italian back ground

I was looking at the name Vincenzo it reminds me of incendio.

English translation of 'incendio'
incendio
/di [inˈtʃɛndjo]
MASCULINE NOUN
fire
provocare l’incendio di to set fire to
i vigili del fuoco hanno domato l’incendio the firemen have got the fire under control

Shades of my Harry Potter experiences.

This cold hearted man is getting feelings for this girl that he has no chemistry with the leading female. Yikes! no way!

consigliere | ˌkɒnsɪˈljɛːreɪ |
noun (plural consiglieri pronounced same)
a member of a Mafia family who serves as an adviser to the leader and resolves disputes within the family.

Consigliere

Consigliere (/ˌkɒnsɪliˈɛəreɪ/;[1] Italian: [konsiʎˈʎɛːre], plural consiglieri) is a position within the leadership structure of the Sicilian, Calabrian and American Mafia. The word was popularized in English by the novel The Godfather (1969) and its film adaptation. In the novel, a consigliere is an advisor or counselor to the boss, with the additional responsibility of representing the boss in important meetings both within the boss's crime family and with other crime families. The consigliere is a close, trusted friend and confidant, the mob's version of an elder statesman; he is an advisor to the boss in a Mafia crime family, and sometimes is his 'right-hand man'. By the very nature of the job, a consigliere is one of the few in the family who can argue with the boss, and is often tasked with challenging the boss when needed, to ensure subsequent plans are foolproof.[2] In some depictions, he is devoid of ambition and dispenses disinterested advice. This passive image of the consigliere does not correspond with what little is known of real-life consiglieri, however.
The boss, underboss, and consigliere constitute the top three positions and a three-man ruling panel, or "administration".[3][4] The Genovese crime family are credited with inventing the rank of Messaggero, who is tasked with serving as a liaison among the other American Mafia families
