Jiang Tao approaches Cheng Xiao beforehand and asks her to keep quiet about his request to divert to Sigorn. Cheng Xiao points out that Jiang Tao's decision followed regulations and wonders why he would want to keep it a secret. Jiang Tao claims that he just wants to avoid unnecessary problems, but Cheng Xiao does not agree. Rather than telling the truth, Jiang Tao chooses to hide the fact that he informed the tower not to divert and tries to avoid responsibility by saying that the airport did not have conditions to divert.
