I immediatly started this after watching Douluo Continent. The first episode is a shock. The relationships changing to be more intimate, the cast changing, the sets being noticeable change from the gritty wuxia to full on xianxia cgi. By the end, I am starting to accept it, but it's hard to not make direct comparisons when watching back to back. Watch some other series before you jump into this one of you just came from Douluo Continent.

The start that leads to a temporarly end

Wow! Just wow this first episode hooked me, when I first saw the transformtions I was like please don't be bad, but as it turns out they managed to do a good job.

The first episode is AMAZINGLY SPECTACULAR!❤️ I super love it! I am a fan of the Donghua version but I love how they executed this live action! Its way better than the season 1 in terms of budget! I mean the costume and effects are way better! Both acting are great! Job well done!❤️

Majestic open credit

I'm impressed after a disappointment in DC years before... I could see why they rushed the final tournament because they wanna fit the 45-minute timeframe...

They're some scenes that they didn't include...
> Xiao Wu's flashback during her escape before
> Tang San cure the poison from the Martial Hall team
> Tang Hao crushed the angel statue of Martial Hall

But, it wasn't that important that it affected the whole main storyline. So, I'm fine with it... I'm happy with this adaptation... Thanks, TLOW for this amazing Episode 1!
