A sudden snowstorm befalls Zhongshan, and Mei Lin must endure to keep Jing He safe as he quickly declines from dehydration and starvation. Xuan Lie declares Jing He dead and produces a faceless corpse wearing Jing He’s thumb ring. Qing Yan finds and hides Jing He and Mei Lin in a small village while Li Qing undergoes treatment to make him sane again.
