Four Stars

perfection! this was perfection - short sweet and prefect... wish this was longer, but sometimes longer means just added clutter. so it's great as is and i hope there is a second season. cause this type of plot, acting etc.. is worth multiple seasons. the range of emotions and feelings conveyed, in such short a time and brilliantly at that - deserves much more then just one season. great work done by all!!!loved how this started off, with them not being able to keep theirs eyes off each other and then u get a look at the 3 trans girls faces behind them - looking at them looking at each other, i burst out laughing cause that was just such a sweet, endearing moment filled with love. all inclusive -when James's woke up to an empty bed, i wanted to feel bad for him. cause he was hurt - but considering his telling Dale the evening before "not to make it harder on him to leave.." i was a bit miffed, it's like he didn't even consider giving Dale and their relationship a chance. and considering Dale opening up to him, as much as he did with Dale - he deserved more, then to be treated like a "tourist attraction". but cause of everything that happened, Dale wasn't the shy fan-boy, basking in his crushes glory, he was an equal that was desired and as attractive to his crush, as he found his crush - so that equal footing gave him the strength to step out of his shell and assert himself - making his will known. inviting himself not only to tag along with James back to him home. but to set a date with him one New Years. his ending with "it's gonna be a long ride" means he's planning for them to not just be an extended one-night-stand. i am beyond happy - this was perfect will for sure revisit this at every chance i want to lift my mood or just for fun (❁´◡`❁)

Meet Me Outside (2020) Episode 6: What About New Year?

Episode 6: What About New Year? was a nice finale. It wasn't spectacular but it was a wonderful way to close this series. There were cuddly moments between Dale and James but I'd be lying if I said those were enough for me. They could have at least given the viewers one intimate kiss, lol. But yes, it's a happy ending so I'm generally ok with it. Script was good. Acting was fine. Although I found the character development of Dale from timid Dale to confident Dale a bit abrupt. I can understand where his newfound confidence came from but it was still quite sudden for me. Audio-visuals were mostly alright. Overall, it was a nice conclusion to this series.
