Was That Kiss Real?
Asked why she kissed him, she tells Seung Min it was to convince Tak. Disappointed that the kiss was not sincere, Seung Min walks away from Ji Na. Tak tries to impress Ji Na, to no avail. Ba Ui makes a connection with Min Ji. Ji Na decides they should all have lunch together and suggests that Ba Ui should invite Seung Min. He turns down the invitation, and Ji Na is disappointed.
She finally asks Ba Ui for advice. He explains that Seung Min values sincerity above all else and that the kiss was both a lie and insincere, which caused him to be angry. In class, Seung Min and Han Na are chatting, and he learns she hasn't eaten in 3 days in order to get to her current weight. She expects criticism from him, but he tells her he would never mock someone for having different priorities. He gives her something to drink after her weigh-in, saying that dehydration is seriously dangerous. He also tells her she is awesome for working so hard to reach her goals. She is moved by his sincerity.
Ji Na wonders why Seungmin agreed to the contract if he honestly values it so much, and Ba Ui tells her that it's because Seung Min really does like her and hopes the relationship can turn into real love before it ends. Ji Na confronts Seung Min and asks why he likes her and when it began, and he tells her about that day in the recording studio when he first heard her sing. She apologizes for kissing him so casually, and he tells her that if she's really sorry, they cancel the kiss and, when the time comes, share a real kiss from the heart. She sits down for her health check, and as she looks over at Seung Min, his words echo in her mind. on the monitor, you can see her heart rate and blood pressure rising to the point where the coach becomes concerned.
