Why Her? Episode 2
Professor Oh Soo Jae
Soo Jae is forced to take time off from working at TK Law Firm after rumours circulate that she drove Park So Young to suicide. She suddenly has to start working at Seojung University Law School as a professor. Meanwhile, Se Ryeon, one of Soo Jae’s students, puts up a poster on campus, detailing the misconduct of one of the Law School professors. She comes asking Soo Jae for help.

Why Her? Episode 2 Reactions
Not as strong as the first episode but it was still good. I somewhat think the storyline of sexual assault was handled poorly in different ways but I don't really ask for much considering what's been going on in Korea for a long time. The romance for me has been kind of bland so far and I hope the show stays more in the lane of what we saw in Episode 1 - intense courtroom drama mystery- rather than what Episode 2 offered.

Love the entire plot. Great storyboarding and character building all in first two episodes. The outlook of one building confidence to then display power is stunning. This is my first time wanting to comment on a show from the very beginning. I'm so intrigue.

Woah. That was pretty amazing. i was so interested in the politics of that law office. She is absolutely cutthroat and I love it. I am so fascinated by this character already, and the actress is pulling it off so well. The change from her younger self to now is so clear that it is freaky. The body language is just do distinct. I was very critical of how this would turn into a romance, as the teacher/student relationship is alway weird, but they kinda pulled it off. the whole backstory is kinda crazy, but it makes sense in a weird way. The only thing is that the flashbacks must have been from about 5 or more years ago. Hwang in Yeop would not look that different. Why didn't she recognize him if that case was so important to her career? Besides that, I love how it opened to her looking in the mirror with the blood on her, so we get a LITERAL representation of how her corrupt career has led her to this place that she is now. Within even the first two episodes we get her dealing with so many instances of sexism, and she responds interestingly to every one of them. I love how we are already seeing her change with her three different responses to sexual harassment. The only thing I am wary of going forward is the place of Hwang In Yeop in her development. I don't think they will have a creepy relationship, but I hope the power imbalance will be handled well. Though it is no secret that I don't like age-gaps, I think I will enjoy this show. However, I don't love the trope of the jaded older person is softened by the innocent younger person, so I hope that doesn't happen. Hwang In Yeop has been through some shit, though, so I don't think that will happen.
