Emergency patients are brought to Ushinomachi General Hospital. There was a car accident involving a family of three with a 10 year old being severely injured. Ryuji is called and he is nervous but enthusiastic. However, in front of Takuma, he can't do anything but watch the doctors and nurse flutter around. In addition, he gets ignored by Sato and Iwai. Still, he boasts to the other residents but is only believed by Takiya. He sends an email home to his mother to not worry about him. However, he does something that results in Takuma's father becoming more and more anxious.
