Xun and Shi work together and fill the debate competition with explicit questions. Wei, a bit confused with the situation, still manages to win the tournament. In the last round, Xun indirectly confesses to her in front of the whole crowd. Further, to congratulate her, a party is thrown, where Xun finally confesses his love for her in a discrete manner. She rejects him as they used to be boss-employee in the original timeline of Wei. But Xun doesn't give up. And after several tries and misses, his kiss is returned one fine night... Further, Shi starts realising that her relationship with Tang Lu is going astray because of her lies. She plans to confess everything to him, but he can't put away with her taste.
