''I hung onto the hope until I will get used to it''

The starting of this episode already made me feel teary! It's really hard to give back to people who gift us when we cant afford it. ''There's no reason for you to share the misery I'm in''. I can relate to her character so much, as I also grew up being close to my grandmother. When her grandma emphasised Ung to ''always stay by Yeonsu side for a long long time, and please don't make her feel lonely,'' it hits me right in the heart. sigh. Thank you for creating Yeonsu! NOT TO FORGET yall IM INLOVE WITH THE LIL THINGS CHOI UNG DOES! Whenever he turns on the light every time Yeonsu went home, how he always waited for her outside her home both in the past and present, how he is resilient in meeting her grandma hahahahah, AND SEES RIGHT THROUGH YEONSU <3 gosh, the list can go on and on without end. WAIT let me add on the fact that Ung supports his dad's hobby too ! Okay now lets talk about the other Ung. ''If you want to live an ordinary life like the others, just pretend that you are'' His character brings so much meaning to this drama. His preserverance tho!

heading into eps 15 with some worry and some hope

Y'all, these two better have a happy ending or I will be writing some sternly worded letters. I loved that the trailers for 13 set us up for something drastic this eps, and instead we got some three-dimensional characters doing their best to work through their s&*%. . What I am enjoying most about this drama is the character development. We get to see the subtle role reversal that take place over time. Yeonsu was the driven one, but she was driven to succeed (i.e., make money) and Ung was driven to spend his time on enjoyable activities (i.e., make a life from his passion)--and so now, Yeonsu has a "good" job but finds no joy in it, and therefore, it doesn't feel like real success or stability, while Ung, who is doing what he loves has become both successful and financially stable. We can also see how some people aren't interested in changing, especially when they have built so much of their identity around their weaknesses (looking at you, Jiung, you like being a third wheel so much you've become a documentary filmmaker: always watching, never joining in). We've already heard Yeonsu being self aware of how her pride hurts her. I'm just biting my nails now to see if she will accept help from Ung and stay with him so they can keep encouraging one another to greater heights. My prediction is that 15 will end with a breakup and 16 will show how they handle it differently than they used to--but if it's some BS like, Ung goes to school overseas for two years and we see in the last two minutes that they get back together again three years from now (looking at you, Coffee Prince et al), then I'm going to be pissed.
