Wu Zhen discovers that the Bone Relic is the remains of the Sinister Fiend Infant from 18 years ago. A mysterious miasma befalls the mountains where the villagers disappear, then reappear unconscious. The Arcane Appraisal Bureau and the Yamen don’t want to take the case and push the responsibility to the other, until Zhu Yu volunteers to investigate himself. Wu Zhen accompanies him.
