Shen Li suspects Xing Yun because it is difficult for a mortal to predict the future. However, she realizes Xing Yun is a mortal from observing his tree leaf diary. Shen Li decides to treat Xing Yun well to repay him for rescuing her. Xing Yun's company also gives Shen Li a period of happy moments. Gu Cheng Rui brings his men to Xing Yun's residence and asks Xing Yun to tell him when Cheng Rui can become the lord. Xing Yun rejects Gu Cheng Rui again. Gu Cheng Rui beats up Xing Yun out of humiliation. Shen Li helps Xing Yun chase Gu Cheng Rui and his men away again. (Source: Viu)

Getting more mysterious

Nice episode introducing Gu Cheng Jin's character, very handsome and mysterious; connected with ML's real identity and past. FL and ML are getting closer, love is just around the corner ! Good entertainment, easy and enjoyable to watch.

Love Lin Geng Xin's expression in this episode

LGX has proven he is a fine actor in this episode.I love his facial emotions when Shen Li removed the claypot from the hot stove to pour him a bowl of medicine. The scene is actually the climax of this series so far (I have so far watched up to Episode 12).

Love the food/eating scenes with these two leads!
