Qin Shi Yue arrives at a hotel in Fucheng late at night, only to run into Shi Yan immediately. Shi Yan informs Shi Yue that his niece has arrived. Afraid that Shi Yan may bring up Qin Le Zhi, Zheng Shu Yi lies to Shi Yan, claiming to be tired, and goes to bed early. With nothing to do, Shi Yan has no choice but to seek out Yu You and Guan Ji. As they talk about their love lives, Shi Yan tacitly admits that he has found the one he loves and has long seen Zheng Shu Yi as a wrong crush made right. (Source: Viu)

The difference btwn the novel and drama

In the novel, Shu Yi's main reason for pursuing Shi Yan was to get revenge on her ex whom she thought cheated on her with his niece; however, in the drama, that was not the main reason, but her ex approached her in epi 22 asking if that was the reason she was dating that "man" (she thinks he's referring to Shi Yan, while the ex is referring to some old married uncle.. that the "mistress" said she was seeing). Misunderstandings all around.
