Li xiong is hurt

Li xiong had been detoxified by qi pa who sucked the poison from his hand in the previous episode. Imperial doctor's prognosis is that Li xiong's energy is drained due to detoxification and has left him in a weak state.

Qi pa reflects that Li xiong always appears to be strong. Li xiong regains consciousness momentarily and cajoles qi pa to forgive him before falling back into a healing coma.

Jing Muhan upon hearing that Li xiong was severely injured while protecting qi pa hypothesis that Li xiong can't be JUST her bodyguard or he wouldn't have risked his life for her. Jing Muhan starts to puzzle about Li xiong's identity.

In his unconscious state during a nightmare, Li xiong clutches qi pa's hand who is sitting near his sick bed and confesses his feelings. This makes qi pa realise that she loves him 'too'. ( Li xiong's nightmare about him being severely hurt and unable to save qi pa from an assassin who embeds a nail in her head is foreboding to what happens in ep 22, though nightmares are always worse than reality, a similar fate befall on them)

Liu Jun wants to take Li xiong back to the king's chamber but qi pa adamantly refuses. Liu Jun worried that Li xiong will transform into his 'wolf' form checks his pulse and to his surprise finds that even though night has fallen the king doesn't show any sign of transformation.

Upon waking up Li xiong doesn't remember his love confession which angers qi pa. Next morning qi pa informs Li xiong that je had confessed his love to her and inquires if he still feels that same. Li xiong is only too happy to comply and profess his love and commitment.

Li xiong and qi pa are both in a daze of love. Qi pa says "love makes a person spin"😛

**An important discovery was made by kui mulang and Liu Jun that he did not transform into his night wolfish persona due to qi pa... It seems that as qi pa has been a host to the holy pearl for five years, it has changed her physiology and blood. **
