Jiang Yi wants to take his place in Penglai using the Penglai drawings. He kills his past self. Shang Guan Ce tries to get everyone to remember Zhan Yan, but they soon forget him again. Jiang Yi changes his mind again and is making Duan Mu marry Gu Chang. Zhan Yan says Duan Mu can take Chong City. They set up a battle ring to determine who will be in charge. Zhan Yan decides to fight in Duan Mu's place since she is injured. Zhan Yan starts disappearing again and Wen Gu notices. Gu Chang's concubine is actually a member of the demon clan and she makes him fall asleep. Jiang Yi makes Zhan Yan fight all the generals in order to win.
