worst parents ever
this drama has the worst parents and in the end they try to sugarcoat everything and make the parents as if they were not the worst. They abandoned him after his accident, didnt care for him, make him less important than their pet. He lived more than 20 years like this AND in just one day everything the parents did get forgotten. like why and how?!?Was this review helpful to you?
The flow from first episode it was interesting that you will get hook and want to watch more.
The casting is superb. JinSeyeon is underrated actress. She acts so good in this drama. I love her character. Jaejoong is best actor. Its my first time watching him act. He is versatile.
Looking forward to more episode. Overall it was perfect 10 for me

The drama went downhill through the steepest slope
I liked the Fl and ML in the beginning and how the whole plot built up in the beginning but at the end it was just not what I expected. I don't usually write review but the cast had better potential and the story was going right in the beginning too, the later half only made me hate the whole story in general and the characters. All this and the ML returned back to his depressing state, destroying the whole meaning of the title. A better plot would have saved the story and the unnecessary triangle only made me hate the brother and FL more ( she could have clearing rejected him rather than giving him hopes by her crumbing behaviour). Was this review helpful to you?
Wasted Potential
I started watching this after seeing its trailer which piqued at my interest. I mean who wouldn't be when it is about erasing bad memories. The first few episodes had been an enjoyable watch, but that is a fast say since it was only the beginning. I was at the point where I thought my expectations were going to be met, however, that wasn't the case. As I watched further episodes and the story starts to unravel, I slowly began losing interest and the storyline suddenly became a complete mess. The introduction of a love triangle between the ML and his brother was the least of things I had expected for a drama that looked promising. It is so disappointing how this could have been made into a great kdrama, if only the writer excelled in story writing but sadly they flopped so bad at it. I can't even believe this has 16 episodes.
Overall, this is a drama that could have been great but lost everything because of mediocre to ridiculous writing.

A good concept destroyed by horrible storyline
The drama is living upto its title: Bad Memory Eraser because that's what the viewers need after watching this pile of trash.I am all for SFL and ML being together instead of a cowardly and zero self respect shit who is easily manipulated by a guy who almost sexually assaulted her to provoke his brother. How the fuck was she even a doctor when she is so dumb.
FL knows she isn't ML's first love and instead of being honest with him and loving him enough so he can get over his past she just hurts him more.
Then there is the moron little shit who is responsible for everyone's suffering. Ends his brother's career, reason for his brother's depression, forces himself on the girl his brother loves. Yet this girl goes after him to make him happy.
The parents are pathetic to say the least with no redemption arc. The worst mother you can give a guy is given to ML.

waste of time
do not waste your time watching this. i have been watching this series since the day it aired. the parents and FL is unbelievable. you would think the FL and ML would end up together but a second later they start having problems with each other. the ending seems VERY rushed. maybe its just me not understanding but i think they never explained if the FL and ML ended up together in the end. i say the first 3 episodes were good till the end. this is the worst “romance” kdrama i have ever seen. Was this review helpful to you?

“Bad memories also become precious ones over time."
It's literally the perfect title to describe this drama. It's perfectly called "Bad Memory".I wish I could do what Lee Goon did to erase my memory after seeing this disaster. It's been a long time since I've seen a drama this bad. And yet, at first, the drama had everything to be a success.
- A good cast (Kim Jaejoong, Hang Hye Ji, Lee Jong Won)
- A different kind of story not often seen in Kdramas.
- Sport
- The concept of memories
In fact, here we can't blame the actor for playing badly, even if I thought LF played very, very badly, but I can't judge her on a single drama I've seen of her and as I said. You can't want them, the script was written by a criminal who deserves to be between 4 walls.
If I had to pick the best actor in this drama, it's clearly "Jae Joong", who carries the whole drama single-handedly. He's the one who plays the best and to whom we're most attached despite this horrible scenario. Well done to him!
The only big plus point of the drama is clearly its OSTs, which are simply magnificent, but as I read in another review. It's nice to have a good OST, but if there's no poignant scene to make us feel the emotions, it's useless. This is clearly the case throughout this drama, never during these 16 episodes did I feel the slightest emotion, be it joy, sadness or anything else...
Finally. Can we really talk about romance here? Or just call it a load of garbage? The chemistry between the 4 was clearly 0.... Ml and FL love each other to the max for 2 episodes of the 16 that make up the drama.
All this to say that "Bad Memory Eraser" had everything to succeed, except a good screenwriter. A drama to forget for me and for those who will read me. I advise you to start something else.
I thank this drama for just one thing: it gave birth to this magnificent OST by the band "Lucy", which I've been listening to every day since its release. Simply magnificent, and thank you!
Thank you for taking the time to read my review. Take care of yourself and your loved ones, because that's what's most important.
Fighting !!!

This is a drama to think through. It brings up important issues
Normally, Bad Memory Eraser would not be the type of drama I would watch. The writing is too simplistic. Nonetheless, I see so much potential in this drama’s storyline which should resonate with many readers. The storyline addresses those who are self-doubters, those who feel hopelessly unassured of themselves. Bad Memory Eraser will entice those who lack confidence and motivation. That is not me. However, I want to be a support and show empathy to those who are self-doubters. I don’t want to show sympathy, because that is feeling sorry for you. I want to show empathy, because that is trying to put myself in your place and understand you. Are self-assured persons better than self-doubter? Not necessarily. Each of us all have our own private little demons we have to resolve.Kim Jae-Joong as Lee Guni is the male lead.
The main cast include ML Kim Jae-Joong (Triangle), FL Jin Se Yeon (Born Again), actor Lee Jong Won (Knight Flower), and actress Yang Hye Ji (Nevertheless).
The Story
Bad Memory Eraser is about a self-assured, hot shot teen tennis player who is the bread winner of the family. This family includes mom and dad and little brother. The teen suffers a devastating injury which causes him to have to leave the sport. The parents now turn all of their attention to the little brother, who is cultured to be the next tennis hot shot family bread winner. The parents subject the older brother to being the butler to the new younger pro tennis sensation. This relegation of the older brother to servant status causes the older brother to question his self-worth and he becomes a self-doubter.
The story involves a Scientific invention which when attached to the brain, it removes bad memories. The accident of the older brother and the subsequent treatment by his parents all count as bad memories. The experimenters convince the older brother to become a human subject. The invention is no magic pill. It has its flaws.
Questions which arise to be answered while viewing Bad Memory Eraser are:
1. With bad memories being so apart of your being, would erasing bad memories necessarily make you a better person?
2. Can some people actually benefit from bad memories?
3. What happens when bad memories are attached to good memories with this eraser?
4. Would we necessarily like the person we become when bad memories are erased?
There are so many raw ideas fed to you from the premise that it could make Bad Memory Eraser a fantastic story. I just tended at times to question the choice directions of the writer. The writer had some great story ideas, but the ideas are not always sewn together interestingly. However, it is not my story to write. Nevertheless, I am finding Bad Memory Eraser a compelling story to watch. I am motivated to see this one through. Hopefully others will do the same.
Those who are familiar with ‘ole school’ K-pop will recognize singer song writer Kim Jae-Joong as the lead vocalist from the Boy Band TVXQ. They were huge in their time. Kim Jae-Joong is a South Korean singer-songwriter, actor, director, and designer.

hope it gets better
I admit that i'm here bc of 2nd ML but after watching the trailer i had big expectations about this show.. 1st episode was nice, all actors are great at their job but i don't like how ML behave, the triangle plot is old and not so good.hope FL end up with 2nd ML and ML end up with his real first love, i think they will look cute together.
and above all hope for an unexpected big plot twist too raise my first impression about this tv show.
i find Lee Shin funny and cute while trying to pursue FL and also find him very kind towards his brother, he seems too feel guilty about snatching her from him and... i don't believe he's the bad guy here, at least i hope so.
things often are different from what they seems to be.
ok, enough with my inside teen, she's too loud btw. i think this drama put the spotlight over very important issues
ptsd, depression, coping, how to seek for help, how a parent-children relationship can turn into a toxic one.. leaded by the hunger of money/success/recognition for smth (athletic life for example) they failed to do in their youth.
tho, i hope i'm putting this down in understandable english and it's just a first impression after 8 episodes

Flowers that have overcome heavy rain and wind bloom more profusely.
Thanks to such gems, interest in dramas does not fade away! Interesting, exciting and unpredictable with three-dimensional characters to whom nothing human is alien, and in everyone there are angels and demons fighting! The chemistry is fantastic. This is exactly the case when you like all the main characters and it’s difficult to pick a favorite, each is beautiful in their own way.I would especially like to note the camera work. The series is very watercolor with stunningly beautiful filming and a screensaver. And the last frame is simply cosmic.
The story itself has a very correct message. Sometimes the things that happen to you and seem negative to you are based on love for you, you just look at the world through the prism of your ideas about happiness and they do not coincide with you.
The drama is deep! Many people write that I don’t understand, just as in life, understanding does not always come in real time, often late, and sometimes too late. This is why the drama is valuable, because it clearly showed the imperfections of life and yet, no matter how much you suffer, there is always the opportunity to recover. And the color of life depends on through what prism you look at it.
Sometimes you need to sacrifice something and in stressful situations the decisions made may not be popular, but they can save the family from collapse. But when trying to make others happy, you shouldn’t do it by pushing them into your model of happiness... and of course, children have a wonderful urge to realize, but you should do this focusing on their personal aspirations.
I liked the acting. It would be foolish for the brothers' parents to reflect and play out drama after a long and difficult path, albeit in the wrong direction, although it was the path to understanding. I'm looking forward to the last episode and I'm sad that the series is ending.

genuine so disappointed
i started watching the drama cause of kim jae joong. i was so excited. i really likes the first few episodes maybe because i was happy to see kjj on screen but after a while the drama went off rails. there is so much going on, it's hard to keep up and i don't understand most that is going on. it's also hard to read the characters, what they're thinking, what they're feeling and so on. i don't think this is the actors fault tho, i think it's the writing. THE WRITING FOR THIS SHOW IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC. i don't think I've seen anything this bad before. the concept of it sound really interesting and i feel like it could have been such a hit, it had so much potential but it's just so disappointing. I'm still waiting for the last few episodes, so that i can correctly judge the drama but i don't think the last 4 episodes woth fix anything. hopefully kim jae joing chooses better dramas from now on. just so this isn't completely negative I'll say some things i like about the drama. the acting was surprisingly really good, some of the character were fun to watch like sae yan lee goon and the 17 year old tennis player(geniunly hate all the other characters). the soundtrack is also good and sometimes it's funny (emphasis on sometimes).none of the hate is towards the actors. in my opinion they did a great job with what they were given. this is mostly for the writers and the director
