Scent of Time Episode 8
After Hua Qian’s confession, Ye Lan avoids her. She finally goes to him, and though he does not want to see her, she makes her wishes for a divorce known. Assuming he will grant her wish, she feels the burden lifted from her shoulders, but her hopes are dashed when he refuses. Her residence slowly turns to disarray from lack of household help, but she trudges on.

I just want to say good for Qian that she didn't even try to deepen her r/ship with Yelan coz she knows, she knows.... OK enough. I think she misunderstood Xiwu which I get her reservation bcs of their meetings in the past. I mean, he did ask her that one question. THAT WAS A BOLD MOVE FROM QIAN *APPLAUSE. I wonder what Xiwu and his mother's reaction to this? 3 times including in this ep that she asked for his name. In the past she did love Yelan in her toxic way but she realised that she had been given a second chance, her love was one sided anyway and she was not meant for him hat made her heart lose all the love. Yelan's heart was moved by the new Qian but... He still love Mu Yao. Whoaa she looks so relaxed and good for her tbh. Nooooo she wanted divorce and yelan umm idk... I want Qian and Xiwuuuu
