Dr. Romantic Season 3 Episode 8 Reactions
1) Love the moral of this episode, as hinted by multiple characters:
(1a) "I believe that without a past, you don't have a present. If you love the present, there's no past you can't understand." -- Yoon Ah Reum
(1b) "Everyone has their own "when I was your age" stories. I would not be there today if not for those experiences." -- Teacher Kim
(1c) "...I spent the past 3 years learning that from Master Kim. You did not missed it, Professor. I missed it." -- Cha Eun Jae
(1d) "Don't assume that others had it easy while achieving the things they worked so hard for." "I wonder what would have become of me if I had never met you"-- Seo Woo Jin"
(1e) I have not lived in such a sloppy way to be rattled by the likes of you." -- Park Eun Tak
(1f) "After losing Assemblywoman Ko's son, I've started to doubt everything I know." -- Jung In Soo
***SPOILERS AHEAD***
2) Liked that Teacher Kim was in charge of the entire situation, giving instructions to even the military in the Hospital. And glad that Teacher Kim scolded the Military and Manager Jang Gi Tae - Teacher Kim was that angry but it was his way to show his love and to teach people how to remember how to better handle such situations next time.
3) Liked that Park Eun Tak did not give in to the threats of his past's bad acquaintances; and how one of the younger ones in that group was confident that Eun Tak would not do as threatened.
4) It was fatherly of Prof Cha to immediately called his daughter (i.e. Cha Eun Jae) to evacuate. Even though this is not becoming/professional of the center head, he does care about his daughter.
5) Glad that Dr Yang Ho Joon was unaware of the entire situation and busy writing his Chicken Burger excuse, as he would have been very noisy (and usually not too helpful in an emergency, unless someone else was on his back).
6) Loved how Teacher Kim handled the two 3rd years differently based on their humbleness/arrogance.
(6a) Liked that Dr Bae Munjeong and Lee Seon Wung were both humble and insisting that the other was the reason why the surgery went smoothly.
(6b) Glad that Jang Dong Hwa went to hug Seo Woo Jin after the whole situation and knows that the shooting games he love playing (to the extent of skipping his responsibilities) are not reality. (P/S: Jang Dong Hwa's aloofness, immaturity and arrogance still gets on one's nerves but it is recognized that there are occasional displays of him growing very little by little, and well, perhaps such a personality who is not perfect is necessary for this series so packed with perfect personalities.)
7) Nice senior doctors in Doldam Hospital who teach and encourage their juniors, and enjoy seeing them grow. Very warm environment in the harsh coldness.
