But after finishing the second episode, I realized this show oddly reminded me of early 2000s American rom-coms and honestly, that made me so happy.Recently, I saw a YouTube video saying that romance movies —you know, rom-coms were basically dead. Hollywood studios can’t afford to make them anymore because they cost too much and don’t get enough visibility with all the streaming competition.And then, suddenly, I stumbled upon this show. By the end of episode two, the leads are sharing a screen, watching a movie together on streaming, with *one pair of earphones* in a café it was so adorable. There were so many little moments that truly captured the nostalgic charm of 2000s romance. It honestly warmed my heart. I’m really excited to see what happens next.
