Otsuki Kaori is an energetic middle school teacher. She is staying at the home of Kawai Koichiro, who runs a general store. His daughter Hana is a student at Kaori's school. Hana is enjoying her school life, partly because her first love, Yabuki Daichi, who had moved to Shizuoka, has returned.
