After their marriage, Cui Lin remains cold and distant from Li Ni due to her father’s illness. Li Ni visits him and tries to figure out how to help cure his illness. Cui Lin remains skeptical that Cheng Feng passed away. Wan Niang tries to get into Cui Lin and Li Ni’s good graces, but Li Ni decides to make it clear to her that he never was interested in her, nor will he ever be in the future.
