Xie Wei returns the Yan family’s army seal to the Emperor and then asks that they be exiled as punishment. Xue Ning is upset that Xie Wei is not protecting the Yan family, so confronts him, only to find a bloody scene. Xie Wei with the crazy eyes.

I'm not quite sure what to make of Xie Wei as the 'ML' character. He oscillates wildly between cool, calm and collected ... and just plain psychopathic extreme. Is he really that over the edge or is Zhang Ling He just over-acting a bit too much? And is he a drug addict as well? I know that he's the story's ultimate, fated one for Ning'er, and I need to be patient for things to develop. But man, right now, everything about him is screaming, "Run! Red Flags! Get away, girl!" As the episode closes, one is left wondering, just how much $$$$ did Ning & Fangyin make off their investment in the bamboo-salt-mining operation?

Now Miss Yao knew the consequences of her…

Now Miss Yao knew the consequences of her actions and got betrayed by her bff. I didn't expect to see this scene in this episode. I saw clips of it in the intro. The misunderstanding abt him being completely heartless, I hope both of them cld talk and they wld clear it soon. I'm glad Xie Wei told it all.. Like explaining it to Ning'er. YES COMMUNICATION!! HER father was so supportive and just the best!

Excellent drama, the pair chemistry awsome. Good job. Always love bai lu . Zhang ling he handsome he will be sky rocket
