Not to be outdone by Ru Ji, Xin Qi decides to give a more practical gift to Min Hui. As Xin Qi leaves for a business trip, Min Hui decides not to tell him about Guan Guan’s school lunch party with the parents. Xin Qi finds out about the lunch party and cuts his trip short to surprise Min Hui and Guan Guan. Cao Mu and Jia Jun finally reveal their true feelings towards one another. Why do so many C-Drama FL's not know how to cook?

And of course the men in their lives are always great cooks. It's kind of a lazy, silly trope. And it really seem unrealistic that Min Hui, as a long time independent single mom (who is incredibly smart and practical) wouldn't know at least the basics of cooking. At any rate, loved that Zhou Ru Ji walked into a solid visual of a happy family of 3 having fun together. A family he is NOT part of. I wish the jerk would take the hint finally. And can he please also stop being such a jerk to Zhuzhu? I know his purpose is to be the 'SML', but does his character really have to be as unlikeable as this?

The bar is in the bottom of the ocean coz why I was so happy Xin Qi really cared about her daily life and take time to choose comfy flat shoes for her. Like that was really her style unlike her friend Cao Mu which was fine too I'm okay with everything. Quanquan called him out Sksksksk. Noooo Min Hui shld hv ask him. Quanquan really want him to come too and I'm sure xin qi wld love it too. Ouuu Cao Mu, you're busted. Hmm... If xin qi didn't appear, I really want Zhou Ruji and Min Hui to be together. Like fall in love. Single mom with amazing career with Heart(?) Specialist Surgeon. Whoa Xin Qi good job coming to the event. Although it definitely set up like he did all that lmao fondue frosting plsksk
