Xin Qi and Jia Jun try to sabotage Min Hui’s and Cao Mu’s blind dates. Zi Zhu helps Ru Ji rehearse for his love confession to Min Hui, but in so doing, reveals her genuine feelings for him. Ru Ji suddenly realizes that he has fallen for Zi Zhu and confesses to Min Hui that he once liked her, but now likes Zi Zhu. He fumbles while making his feelings known to Zi Zhu, who misunderstands that he’s settling for her since Min Hui doesn’t like him in return. (Source: frankly at MyDramaList)

They are dragging this out too long. Hopefully…

They are dragging this out too long. Hopefully they get some resolution soon. I worry, though, that the writers will use some drama trope contrivance to fix this because they've pretty much boxed the relationship between Min Hui and Xin Qi into a dead-end corner as things stand. So I worry they will use something dramatic, like bringing in a real legitimate love triangle interest (ick) or maybe have either Xin Qi or Quanquan have some heart complications. Or some other extreme drama.

This episode's description... I'm cheering for Zhou Ru Ji and Zi Zhu!! Why.. Xin Qi the genius he is didn't realise that Min Hui also can see him from that mirror - _- I know quanquan wld sabotage that date. "but you're not handsome as my father" skskksks quanquan.
