CANDY crush :)
This drama kept popping up on my YouTube and so, I decided to watch it. I watched "Once We Get Married (2021)" and I quite enjoyed it. I gave it a rating of 8/10.I like this new drama of theirs even more. This drama is like an upgraded version of the aforementioned drama. I like this new drama a lot!
What I love about this drama:
- The ML and FL have great chemistry. I like that they truly have eyes for each other and are sincere towards each other.
- The ML and FL are not the most gorgeous looking of the lot of actors and actresses but they are charming and attractive in their own ways.
- The little boy really looks like his "parents" and he is quite adorable. He is a fine, young actor.
- The plot is quite intriguing and quite fast-paced. I binged this drama in 3 to 4 days.
- I love the FL as she is sassy and fiercely independent. It takes a village to raise a child and she relies on her helpful buddies. She juggles her work life and home life. She is a devoted mother and an intelligent as well as capable worker. She is a modern day woman who is #boss.
- I love FL's bestie, Cao Mu. She is sassy, fiercely loyal, feminine yet strong, gorgeous, stylish and capable.
- I love ML's secretary, Hardy. He is the comic relief. He does his job well. He knows his role. He is loyal and dependable.
- The other characters are also quite all right, e.g. Yao Zi Zhu, Xin Di and Zhou Ru Ji. I like that they are good people with reasonable thoughts (and not psychotic thoughts) and have their hearts in the right places.
- There are bad characters in this drama, e.g. Cheng Qi Rang and Ding Yi Feng, but they get their just deserts and so, I am satisfied.
- The ending is slightly cliched but it is exactly the kind of ending that I like. The ML and FL get married and "live happily ever after" with another baby son.
I highly recommend this drama. Why? As above and because this drama is a relatively stress-free watch. Most parts are sweet and issues get resolved well. This drama is like ā¦ a pleasantly cool and sweet drink on a balmy day. Sip it. Enjoy it. The aftertaste is sweet too. :)

Watch it for Quanquan
Quanquan stole the show for me, his scenes were my favourite. I would be interested to see him in another drama. This was a cute story with a very likeable cast. The story was well paced though I felt the ending was a bit rushed. The female leads were annoying at times but overall not as bad as some of the reviews suggest. I'd definitely re-watch this. This is my first drama with Wang Zi Qi. I really like him in this drama. The female lead suited him and the chemistry was there. A cute easy watch.Was this review helpful to you?

Honestly, this felt like fan service to me. Everyone (including me!) absolutely loved these two in āOnce we get Marriedā last year. At the time there was so much talk about their chemistry and how much kissing there was early in the show, which totally worked because of their chemistry, but this felt a little over the top for me. They kissed so much it was just boring and the chemistry wasnāt as good as it was in Once..I also thought some of the men just got a little too goofy. The Doctor character did a complete 180 and turned into a goofy lovelorn sap after being super buttoned up for the first half of the show. Xin Yi also turned into this puppy dog like character following along after Min Hui like he had no job or anything to do. It just seemed a little childish. I did like the younger brother character who was with Cao Mu. Cao Mu was great, tho I had such a hard time not seeing her as the rival ācampus beautyā from Love O2O >.<
All in all I did like the drama but I felt Xin Yiās character got a little boring.
The woman power stuff was great and they were definitely sending a message about speaking out about workplace sexual harassment, obviously a super important message, tho there were moments it felt a little like it was some infomercial about how you should speak out. Like, yes, we get it.
The kid was very cute and the many playing moments with Xin Yi were so sweet and fun to watch, but it felt like the point of having the kid in the show kindof petered off in the last half of the show. He was really only featured until they got together then they sortof abandoned his character I felt. Other than using him as a constant joke as to why Min Hui and Xin Yi seemed to keep getting interrupted right before they were about to shack up. lol. Tho, honestly thatās relatable, I can attest as a parent with small children.
And of course the bad guys - it was satisfying, of course, when the bad guys gets it in the end, tho I didnāt understand why Min Hui didnāt call the cops on him the two times he basically tried to kidnap her into his car and was grabbing her etc. cuz that was messed.

It was good until it wasn't
I really liked this drama overall. I liked all the characters and the actors. I liked the storyline for the most part. Actually until it got to the 2nd or maybe it was the 3rd time she broke up with him, if you count five years ago, it might have been the 4th or 5th time.This drama was very trope-y. The breaking up because you were eavesdropping and didn't wait to hear the whole conversation is overdone and I think that was when I was like, hmm. By episode 22, I was skipping forward most of the episodes. But, 22 out of 28 isn't bad when you think about the first 21 episodes were actually enjoyable. The last six wasn't bad they were just predicable.
But, no I wouldn't watch it again.

The love that I got <3
This Chinese show was really superb.I liked the acting and the story was very excellent, the music was okay and the character's development was great.
All 3 couples were different and refreshing to see.
Xin Qi & Min Hui- I like a classic "friends to lovers, lovers to strangers and then back to lovers" story lol. It was nice to see them slowly trusting each other again after so many years. Yes, there were moments where they just hated the other person but it all worked out in the end.
Chen Jia Jun & Cao Mu- They were really sweet and I thought that they were cute ever since she hit him with her car.
Chen Jia Jun was really protective of her and i really liked that but I have to say that there were moments were he made me mad. But like the first couple, it all worked out.
Zhou Ru Ji & Yao Zi Zhu- Cute couple. I did find her a little annoying at first but she grew on me. I loved seeing a different side of Zhou Ru Ji and how he was trying really hard to make Yao Zi Zhu believe that he actually loves her.
QuanQuan was so adorable! Smart and nice like his parents.
Hardy was a very funny character and it's very hard to dislike him.
Lin Xi Yue.... she is alright....
Cheng Qi Rang can go to hell~
Ding Yi Feng deserved what he got.
All the other characters were very nice and I liked them as well.
I really did love watching The Love You Give Me. I watched them cry and laugh, hate and love. Really hope you have already seen it and if you haven't, please do.

Love is a commitment
Firstly, the cast is very apt. Lead actor and kid kinda looks alikeThe sceneries in this C drama is also refreshingā¦
The leading actress & actor has awesome chemistry, able to express anguish, humour, jealousy in their facial expression & mannerism.
The little kid has very natural talent in acting skills. ..
Still watching ā¦ the drama as it unfolds.
Also it is interesting to learn more about congenital heart issues / blood donation info & technology .
Amusing to see a å§å¼ę ( young man / older woman ) relationship in the 2nd couple.
Overall, itās an engaging Cdrama that deserves attention. š

Oh How Life Plays With Our Emotions
I am so happy that Wang Zi Qi and Wang Yu Wen are back together for another drama. I loved them in "Once we get Married". Their acting is so natural and has a real life feel to it. Their interpretations of a couple's emotions is really well done. I wish they could do a period drama together to see if their emotions would be as real. To this point, I find the story interesting in that they both work parallel to each other with a rocky start but once it was known who the father of Min Hui's child is, they still focus on their work but more attention is given to their son. I hope there are a few twists and turns in the next few episodes.Was this review helpful to you?
Worth watching
I really loved this drama! The chemistry between actors makes me want to believe that it is real. Witty, funny heartwarming!! Really worth watching. It is exciting to wait for another episode.It is really nice to se them again in different drama. We can see how much tension they got between them. The kid is so adorable!! I love how each character got its storyline. The acting it's amazing! We can see the jealousy in their eyes. We can see how they still love each other. This drama is a must have of this year

At the beginning it was ok. Strong FL (i guess), she is smart and all that but start didn't get me. At the first ML went on my nerves because we didn't even find out why he hated her. I said ok and continued watching. Episode i think around 15, everything is cute and lovey-dovey and there FL find most RANDOM reason to not be with ML. My anger went 300. And ehy is that? Cause she is stupid in my opinion.Ofcoure you can have your own opinion, but in mine to sum up: good acting, first few episodes ok, later on (just No), rewatch : absolutely nohope this helped you and sorry for bad english

The kid carries this drama! The two adults act so childishly that most of the issues are misunderstandings due to a lack of communication and trust in each other.The FL is a superwoman with a successful career and a full-time mom, but I'm not sure if that is putting the expectations for single mothers too high. For example, you can be super good at your job or an amazing mother, but both come with sacrifices. If, as a woman, I had a child, but I had to be absent from work a few hours a day more than twice a week for my kid's hospital appointment, I'm not sure if I would get the same executive position or respect as my male counterparts who spent more time at the office. We can't deny, though, that she's very strong and an example for many women out there who may want to take on this challenge, so kudos for that. The ML on the other end needs to do better, and I'm glad she made him work twice as hard to get a spot on her table with her son; he's not a bad guy per se, but as always, men need to work harder, please.
The FL best friend is a girl crush too; I loved her! Probably her romance with the younger guy is the only second couple in a drama that I haven't skipped in years; they're the sweetest!
I'll try my best to stop hating on the main couple's bickering and misunderstandings and try to finish this once and for all lmao.
