get why everyone is elated with the ending/conclusion,…

get why everyone is elated with the ending/conclusion, it was cute and all, BUT(!!!) personally - this was far from a perfect finale. as i mentioned before, the character's here r hard to hate cause even though they r frustrating at times, u see/get how complex each is (like in life) and that the reasoning behind their actions n reactions r never black n white. that is one of the mains things i Love about this BL/drama - But (back to the BUT) Minato is a seriously frustrating character(!!!) that i can't keep rationalizing/understanding - not at this late stage.... *******************************************************************************

there comes a time where some growth and development is needed, Shin for the 100th time not only acted mature, but made a decision in consideration of Minato - again(!) and yeah great that Minato took those 6 months to learn how to cook for Shin (cause idk about anyone else, but it was grating on my last nerve, how Shin always kept cooking for this child) so yeah great - but finally, when he had the chance to be/act the adult and say his peace (confess), he still chicken's-out?!? like freakin come-on.
and i for sure didn't like/enjoy the fact that Shin decides to say in that hometown to baby Minato - cause i'm sure the better option would be in a bigger city like Tokyo. so his staying back for love is meeh - ***************************************************
****************************************************************************************************************************************
for me this isn't perfect cause Minato from start to finish was throwing a pity-party for himself (which while understandable at the start, is infuriating at the end) he was the Queen of this BL and i get he the uke here, but come-on. so yeah this was great in some aspects, but in others, this a weird/bad message to anyone of how love should be... but am the odd one out, bummer that this got a cliché ending

It Gave Me Butterflies

For a second I thought this show wouldn't give a kiss scene but it did at the end. I love this show, especially the last episode. Not to lie but it have my butterflies. The sad scenes ending with "I'm going to a local school" (I don't know if he actually said this, but it's close enough) was the best part. It is one of the best BL moment in my history of watching Bk series'. My favourite.

It Is What It Is

Fluffier than air, right to the end. Shin is the adult in the relationship, and Minato is a blockhead, although given his past, understandably so. Something which Shin seems to understand right from the outset.

There was never any real doubt as to the outcome, at least not to anybody who watches any significant amount of BL. But that's okay. It was comforting watching MInato's squirmy antics while knowing that in the end he would succumb to his own feelings and do the right thing for both himself and Shin, rather than continue to punish himself for his own past.

And, of course, to get right down to the wonderful trivia part, nobody does impossibly cute guys like the Japanese.
