Let me start by saying that the main leads are the life of this drama. Solid performance and well acted characters.
How do you surpass the success of a recent Kim Soo Hyun drama? Easy. Make and even more successful one!
No kidding Soo Hyun, always delivers + the remarkable Kim Ji won = Perfect chemistry!
Chemistry is chemistry-ing that we are all anticipating them to be the next real life couple.

This drama also leaves very great lesson about the complex of marriage life. That love isn't always present and perfect. There would be always be hardship but communication is the key to a better relationship.

Side note: The plot could have been better if the storyline was as original as they want it to be but let's be real here. We've all seen this. Surely, this isn't the first time we see a character suffering from illness. Chaebol family who gets dragged out of their company and wealth and a mother-son tandem which is doing all this revenge. God knows for who? BUT the main characters is the one hard-carrying the whole drama to be very honest. Also, it's just me being to salty because why they tagged this drama rom-com when all we doo all week is cry? I mean all of the QOT nations we share the same tears. Lol

Anyways, aside from that I enjoy watching this so much that I will be rewatching until I get sick of it. Lol

It's been awhile...

Just like my headline suggests, it really has been awhile since we had such a solid kdrama in years!! I don't even remember the last time I felt so emotionally INVESTED and obsessed with a Kdrama. Sis checks twitter religiously every single day and hour for more updates lmao. I can't wait for it to end so I can finally concentrate at work HAHAHA TT but at the same time I aM super sad that its ending because when will we ever see ksh on screen again? in 3 YEARS? dude serves us a 3 course meal and then disappear like its nothing making us survive on crumbs after.

wow.. where do I start, this drama is like a breath of fresh air, it has everything! The plot itself is intriguing, literally had the whole world coming up with theories, we had doctors, lawyers, accountants all coming together to discuss the plot HAH. I am RUNNING AWAY FROM PEOPLE WHO CAME UP with the theory that hyunwoo dies at the end of this show. LIKE HELLO? nO. GET AWAY from Me.

anywho, I love how this drama brought all of us together!! This ride has been nothing but an EXPLOSIVE TREAT. The cast had already warned us during the interview that this show will have plot twist over twist over twist + case on case on case. They weren't lying when they said ep 5 was only the beginning because everything that came after that was just HELL. Had us ugly crying every ep frs. I was shocked to find out that each ep is about 1.5h long cause it doesn't even feel that long!!! also bc every ep is alluring.

The storyline to some may be mediocre, but its the storytelling that is enticing. The plot shines the harsh truth of how life after marriage would be, and in this case it may not always be a happily ever after. Miscommunications, assumptions, built up frustrations and unresolved hurts will always affect the relationship, afterall it takes two hands to clap in a rs/marriage. I like how they show the state of the contrast difference between the Hong and Baek family and how its in Baek's family that hae in feels comfortable about letting her guard down and learning to receive love. And I really love how clear baekhong's love is shown in this drama - to be loved is to be understood and known.

The ways the actors go above and beyond to make their characters come to life. Ksh and Kjw served INSANE chemistry both on screen and off screen, even I can't help but to ship them irl TT. (secretly wishing for them to pull a BinJin) The acting, the adlibs, the constant strive to do better in delivering lines and expressing emotions shows dedication to their craft. Man literally proved us once again why he is the king of ratings and one of the highest paying actor in sk! Both kjw and ksh delivered such a stellar performance, and ofc with the other casts as well, special mention to park sung hoon as eun seong cause man acted so well it made me wna PUNCH him every single time he comes on. He needs Jeon Jae Joon to teach him a lesson HAH.

As a fan of both of the main leads, I have been truly blessed by this series. And sending my heartfelt congratulations for everyone that made QOT come alive, yall truly deserved the recognition for all that hard work!! It really is a bittersweet feeling knowing that we're heading towards the finale of this drama, part of me is sad because this is the end of an amazing story, but also so happy for all the recognition and support they are all getting. I already felt the post drama syndrome kicking in at ep 14... ahha, this feeling is smth i've never felt for in such a long time. Thank you QOT, for once again reigniting my love for dramas. It really has been a traumatic ride HAHAH kdrama? no.. ktrauma.

Lovin' It !!

Being a Big fan of Kim Soo Hyun, I’m thrilled to witness his return to the screen after a three-year hiatus. His performance up to Episode 2 has been nothing short of spectacular, capturing the essence of his character with finesse. Kim Ji Won, though not someone I follow closely, has also delivered a commendable performance. Her roles in ‘Crash Landing on You’ and ‘Descendants of the Sun’ were my only encounters with her work, but in this drama, she’s truly doing a good job.

The narrative has been engaging thus far, and I’m optimistic that it will maintain its momentum without resorting to unnecessary fillers. I’m eagerly anticipating how the plot will unfold and have high hopes for the drama’s continued success. It’s a story that has captured my heart, and I can’t wait to see where it takes us.

Un drama con muchos Clichés!

Este drama te llama la atención desde un principio por el elenco! Pero vaya sorpresa que me lleve , aunque aveces me gustaba otras veces no, empezando por la historia me gustó el tema del divorcio, las diferencias sociales etc pero como avanzada la historia lo sentí superficial, y nada reflexiva, aparte de varios Clichés como ser la perdida de memoria y otras circunstancias, no me gustó el tema nada realista con lo que se llevó su enfermedad de la protagonista, otro punto en contra fueron varios personajes detestables y la actitud de nuestra protagonista, su banda sonora me gustó bastante y las escenografías también, pero debo decir que para mí es un drama muy sobrevalorado.....

El hype estaba por las nubes y no fue para tanto

Comencé a ver el drama porque estaba teniendo muy buenas críticas y la premisa me encantaba.
Pues bien, los primeros capítulos me engancharon bastante y podía ver porqué a la gente le estaba gustando tanto, pero hubo un momento por el capítulo 9 o 10 en el que se me comenzó a hacer bola esta historia. Un kdrama no necesita sí o sí 16 episodios. Si hubiesen sido menos y no hubieran metido tanto relleno igual le habría puesto más nota, pero han hecho todo más largo de lo necesario. No necesitábamos más subtramas ni historias de otros personajes.
Sin embargo, del capítulo 14 al 16 lograron remontar un poco y hacer que me enamorase de nuevo como en los primeros episodios.
La historia se queda bastante regular y si saco algo positivo diría que las actuaciones han sido increíbles y el OST ha sido mágico, ya que las voces de los chicos de Seventeen y Crush le dan a la historia ese toque romántico y tan de kdrama que a mí me gusta.

drama dengan cerita biasa saja, tapi dengan aktor kelas atas yang membuatnya overrated dan overhype

ya drama ini overrated hanya karena aktornya, tapi bukan berarti dengan aktor yang kelas atas alur ceritanya juga bagus, terutama alur dan endingnya yang hanya template dari drama yang sudah pernah kita tonton seperti crash landing on you dua drama ini memiliki kemiripan dari cara menyampaikan alurnya dan juga ending dari drama ini, contohnya seperti di akhir episode kedua drama ini yang berakhir mirip bahkan seperti adegannya pun mirip dimana si antagonis diceritakan sudah sangat terpojok dan tidak punya pilihan selain membunuh walaupun pada akhirnya usahanya sia sia dan malah dia yang mati, nah dalam adegan itu kita bisa lihat kemiripan diantara kedua drama ini bahkan sampai adegan si antagonis ini pun sama seperti dia dikepung oleh polisi/tentara dan pada akhirnya dia mati di tembak oleh polisinya itu mirip sekali jadi kenapa aku bilang alur drama ini template karena itu tadi kita sudah bisa menebak endingnya yang membuat kita tidak cukup puas, bagaimana bisa orang sejahat itu mati begitu saja,tapi kalau untuk keseluruhan ceritanya nya juga gak ada yang begitu special kita hanya dibikin emosi oleh sang sutradara sepertinya sutradara dari drama ini hanya ingin membuat penonton marah dan sedih, hanya emosi marah dan sedih yang ingin disampaikan selebihnya seperti komedinya tidak begitu terasa kita hanya di buat penasaran apa yang akan terjadi berikutnya tanpa ada makna yang begitu berarti, dan kalau kita lihat drama ini di pertengahan sampai episode terakhir ceritanya hanya seperti dua orang yang saling memperebutkan perempuan,tapi diluar alurnya yang biasa saja dan membosankan "menurutku", drama ini memiliki soundtracknya yang bagus dan juga sinematografi yang indah sehingga bisa membuat ceritanya terlihat agak menarik, dan dengan akting yang bagus dan terlihat natural penonton bisa merasakan emosi dari dari drama ini, ini semua opiniku ya kalau ada yang gak setuju juga gapapa semua orang memiliki pendapatnya masing masing dan aku menghargai itu.

La ricetta imperfetta: quantità invece che qualità

Dalle premesse doveva trattarsi del capolavoro dell'anno. Dal cast stellare alla produzione, sceneggiatura, regia e via dicendo.
L'incipit è interessante: una coppia sposata - sposata per amore - ma che ormai porta avanti un matrimonio di facciata. Le carte non vengono svelate subito, qualche flashback ci mostra l'esordio della loro relazione ma resta quel misterioso gap nel mezzo, che porta lo spettatore a chiedersi come si sia giunti alla situazione presente.
Rispetto ai protagonisti, ho trovato davvero calzante la scelta di Kim Ji Won nel ruolo di Hae In: l'attrice giusta nel ruolo giusto. Una prova performante, la sua, che mi ha ricordato molto anche il personaggio che aveva interpretato in "I discendenti del sole": schietta, tagliente, carismatica, indubbiamente incisiva e affascinante. Se da una parte, ripeto, l'ho trovata perfetta per il ruolo, dall'altra mi chiedo se non manchi di versatilità (un conto è ricoprire bene un certo ruolo, un altro è saper interpretare bene solo quello). Non ho invece apprezzato il protagonista maschile: sono consapevole che sia uno degli attori tra i più acclamati, ma personalmente non sono mai riuscita ad apprezzarlo. Indubbiamente bello - come viene riconosciuto anche al personaggio che interpreta - ma sembra davvero che il suo unico punto di forza sia solo quello. Una bellezza fine a sè stessa, che manca di fascino, di espressività, di carattere e spessore. Se non sai bucare lo schermo, resti solo uno dei tanti bei volti che si perdono nella massa. Due, sostanzialmente, le sue espressioni: sorriso a 32 denti e smorfia da pianto disperato. Manca davvero una vasta gamma di emozioni che non è in grado di esprimere nè suscitare. L'altra nota dolente della serie, è aver voluto troppo. Se gli ingredienti sono di buona qualità, una ricetta ben riuscita non è quella che ne conta il numero maggiore. Tutte le tematiche possibili sono state inserite nella storia, dal fatto che si fossero già conosciuti in tenera età e che quindi si siano ritrovati, dagli spaccati accademici di quando erano adolescenti, il tema dell'amore-odio-amore, del matrimonio di apparenza, dei fraintendimenti e del non detto, del divario delle classi sociali di appartenenza, la malattia terminale, la perdita di memoria... Davvero, il troppo che stroppia. Scorrendo l'elenco delle guest star, sembra di ricalcare la stessa linea: tante, troppe comparse importanti, sempre seguendo la filosofia che "più è, meglio è". Alla lunga, l'attenzione cala, il coinvolgimento scema e non c'è più un vero elemento di traino, solo tante tematiche che si susseguono, mentre i tira e molla diventano tanti, troppi, le cartucce sono già state tutte sparate ed è sempre più difficile riagganciare l'attenzione dello spettatore. Mi aspettavo davvero una serie meritevole, durante la visione ho ridimensionato le aspettative e confidato di poterle dare almeno un 8, ma arrivata in fondo sono riuscita ad attribuirle a fatica un voto discreto, che supera la sufficienza solo grazie all'aiuto di un'ottima colonna sonora e un cameo davvero notevole, la breve incursione di Song Joong Ki nei panni di Vincenzo Cassano (e una menzione agli altri ruoli di rilievo da lui interpretati, già che viene presentato come un personaggio misterioso che forse è stato un militare delle forze speciali - Discendenti del sole - forse un erede di un conglomerato - Reborn Rich - e molto probabilmente un avvocato appartenente alla mafia, Vincenzo, appunto). Nei pochi minuti nei quali hanno condiviso la scena, il protagonista davvero è diventato il nulla cosmico rispetto alla presenza di Song Joong Ki, molto più espressivo lui in quelle poche inquadrature che l'altro in tutti i 16 episodi messi assieme. Non lo sconsiglierei, ma con un approccio cauto e non troppo carico di aspettative.
