The Liang army of 100,000 is at Youzhou’s door. Jiu Si holds down the fort with 15,000 soldiers while Zhou Ye heads to the Eastern Capital to get reinforcements. Jiu Si does a great job keeping the Liang army at bay when Lord Liang realizes he is his nephew. Jiu Si doesn’t back down, but Commissioner Fan and General Zhou believe Lord Liang is purposefully trying to reduce the Youzhou forces in the Eastern Capital, so it won’t help Jiu Su. Ugh. Too many stupid fools.

LIang is an ambitious fool who has started a rebellion he can't finish and has thrown the nation into chaos Old Mo is a stupid old fool who lets an evil creep out of prison. And General Zhou Gau Lang is a stupid fool for not respecting and trusting his son. This episode is aggravating to watch because these fools are the cause of so much trouble, undermining the brilliant efforts & competency shown by Jiu Si & others. And I'm so proud of Zhou Ye at the end of the episode, calling out and shaming his father!.

Ambition

Everybody and their dog think they are emperor material. The Gu family are protecting the people of the city while three stooges think they can sit their ambitious behind on a throne.
