As Nozue approaches his 40s, he is neither motivated by life nor does he have any ambition at work, refusing every possible opportunity for a promotion at his job. The same remains the case with love, as he finds it too troublesome to go out on dates and have someone to be with. All of this has his co-workers curious questioning as to why such a kind and popular guy is still single. One day, Nozue and his subordinate, Tokawa, go out to visit a client. On their way back, they see girls from high school frolicking around to which Nozue casually comments, "I envy them!” Upon hearing this, Tokawa decides to take Nozue to a pancake shop that is often frequented by young and attractive girls. As the two sit down for desserts and start talking, Tokawa decides to share a secret with Nozue. (Source: GagaOOLala)

Keep on watching, or fast forward if need!

I was initially a bit bored and almost dropped episode 1, but I'm glad I stayed on. Coz, once they started to go out on a "date", its so fun afterwards

Loving the maturity that the series brings. It brought a refreshing take on the whole genre. The male leads are also very convincing and they have a really good on-screen chemistry. Love it so far!

hmmm so am a proud agest - having said that, maybe cause (in spite of the age difference) visually both leads seem the same age. i didn't find that fact to be a off-putting. heck if anything the one that i like more, is Nozue. he is more human for want of a better word and doesn't have an ulterior motive (Togawa is totally passive aggressive and a bit manipulative and idk how much i like those personality traits, when his "target" is a pure, trusting, unsuspecting soul). ********************************************but there were moments when i wondered if this is about gender - as in Nozue being Nonbinary. ****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************for a 1st ep there were a lot of routes this could've taken and it was interesting - but still feel like Nozue in-spite of his age is too naïve. i know in this BL universe people (the consumers not only the "producer's") love aggressive Seme's and can and will over-look anything he does in conquering/subjugating/"winning over" the Uke - as if the end justifies the means. ***************personally really hope the preview isn't an indicator of how this is gonna go - cause i don't think just cause the aggressor is younger it's ok - really wish this mold of "cause i love, i can treat the one i love as land i wanna invade, pillage and plunder..." mindset would stop - but am the odd one out so

Something I can relate

I was instantly in love with this mini series. The first episode speaks so many volumes about age, not being sure what you want, or even aware of what is lacking. The best part is the absolute depth of the topic, all sugarcoated into this sweet saga. Some might be seduced by cuteness but it is far from shallow romcom type of series! if I could give 10000 stars I would! I could not stop smiling, and when you are in your late 30s that is something that you must appreciate!
