What are they doing?
Not going to lie I showed up for Mew and what a $hit show. My only thought is he's hard up for money or acting jobs because no self respecting agent should have allowed this. So Mew's character is the only one who speaks Thai but the rest of them can understand him because of magic ear buds, what!? I spent most the show wondering how they all communicated on set. Like did Mew just know when they stop talking it's my turn. And for f@ck sake what the hell does this have to do with cats!?!? I only have 10 min left but I haven't seen one flipping cat, lots of dogs. I watch this because I needed something to watch during my lunch break and I'm still kind of mad at myself for watching it until the end.Was this review helpful to you?
New trend in the BL series no more Hot scenes
Love is like a cat uses the story of Pi Uno and Dae Byeol as a metaphor for the importance of empathy and compassion towards animals. Characters learn valuable lessons about love and responsibility.I loved how Love is like a cat uses the love of animals as a means to bring the main characters, Pi Uno and Dae Byeol, together despite the differences in language and culture. It's a powerful reminder that love and compassion can transcend all barriers. This is a new wave of story. The sweet and cute is the new black😁😁Was this review helpful to you?
Ugh.. where to even begin?
For several reasons, Love is Like a Cat is the worst BL I have seen this year. When you really think about it, combining two languages is incredibly hard to pull off, and in this show, it is clumsy and non-sensical (why can characters understand each other sometimes and other times not???). But, the problem at the core of this is the romance. There is zero chemistry the romance is nowhere to be found, and when it is found it's awkward as hell. I hypothesize that the actors had trouble behind the scenes with the mixed-language issue and this translated (see what I did there ;) into their performances. Sigh, even Mew’s visuals and charisma could not save this BL. The plot is boring, slow, and the tension never pays off. Also, at this pet cafe, there are no extras and one (1) dog and zero (0) cats or maybe I just don't remember if there were. Please skip this one, it's not even so-bad-its-good, it's just... bad. And if you want to see more Mew just watch TharnType again (that's what I did). -EJ ReviewsWas this review helpful to you?

Cute and feel good story
I had really enjoyed watching the first two episodes, can't wait for more... I love PiUno, a cold and arrogant man outwardly, but actually a little boy lost inside. Although there's language barrier, Mew's performance is good and natural. Not to mention he's so so handsome and sexy. 😍 PiUno and JM met in the second episode, so looking forward to seeing how they fall in love...Was this review helpful to you?
Acting actors and storyline
This is a new movie, and although I can't say much about the plot, it definitely caught my interest. The actors' performances were impressive, especially Mew's. Despite working with actors who spoke a different language, he flawlessly portrayed his character and seamlessly interacted with his co-stars. He fully embodied his role and made it seem like he was truly living his character's life.

Sweet and light story
Both episodes was great😊.I love how natural the scenes look knowing the language difficulty. Mew's performance is amazing, how he reflects every emotion of the character. Add Mew don't speak corean but he is assemble perfectly his performance with all the cast. It was short but it leaves me looking forward to next Monday.

Thoughts after the first two episodes
Filmed two years ago, I can’t believe we finally get to see this on air. Thoughts just from watching the first two episodes that aired. So from the first two episodes, a lot didn’t happen. It was more setting up the rest of the show for me. I found some scenes hilarious, some cute, and some that seemed like they weren’t needed in my opinion.
As far as the language goes, I think The Koreans seemed more comfortable of course because it was produced by them and everyone spoke the language. I applaud Mew for trying something new and stepping outside his comfort zone. I was sure some people, who didn't know about the studio behind this, obviously would struggle and possibly have issues with the language switching. However, I think the drama explained it well in the first 2 episodes. People in multilingual homes would probably be able to relate to the fact that you can understand but not speak a language. So I think it's entirely plausible for Piuno to be able to do the same.
Also, this is the premise of all the shows this company has and will be releasing. Thai actors will be speaking in their language and Korean actors will be speaking in theirs. After doing some research, I saw that of the remaining films, Wuju Bakery was filmed last after and a new production team took over. So how they go about the language thing, we will just have to wait.
As far as the acting goes, I think everyone did a good job but it's the first 2 episodes and I think there is room for improvement overall. But I do want to address Mew's acting specifically. I’ve seen some of Mew's recent dramas and I can tell his acting has improved a lot since this was filmed before them. But I don’t think his acting was as bad as people making it out to be. Also, it’s clear some of you just have a bias to begin with when it comes to him.
Lastly, I wish the episodes were longer to be able to fit things in more smoothly and expand on things a little better.
Will be looking forward to seeing how this plays out over the next episodes to come.
Revised text:
I'm amazed that after two years, we finally get to see the show on air. Here are my thoughts on the first two episodes that have aired.
Not much happened in the first two episodes; they were mostly setting up the rest of the show. I found some scenes hilarious, some cute, but some seemed unnecessary in my opinion.
Regarding the language, Korean actors seemed more comfortable, as the show was produced by them and everyone spoke the language. I applaud Mew for stepping outside his comfort zone and trying something new. Although some people may struggle with the language switching, I think the drama explained it well in the first two episodes. People in multilingual households can relate to understanding a language without being able to speak it. Therefore, it's plausible for Piuno to be able to do the same.
This is the premise of all the shows this company has and will release. Thai actors will speak in their language, and Korean actors will speak in theirs. I researched and found that Wuju Bakery was filmed last, and a new production team took over. We'll have to wait to see how they handle the language issue.
Regarding acting, everyone did a good job, but there's room for improvement overall. I want to address Mew's acting specifically. I've seen some of his recent dramas and can tell his acting has improved since this show was filmed. However, I don't think his acting was as bad as some people are saying. It's clear from the comments, some may have a bias against him.
Lastly, I wish the episodes were longer to fit things in more smoothly and expand on things better.
I'm looking forward to seeing how the show plays out in the upcoming episodes.

Was this review helpful to you?
A cute & easy going romance
The series started out cute and adorable, especially on Pi Uno's end with his cold demeanor. The language switch was also well done with no awkwardness at all, that you can easily neglect it. The acting is natural and it was so great seeing Mew through a Korean production lens. My only complaints is that it is too short, but other than that I can't wait for the next episodes. Was this review helpful to you?
The story and PiUno
