That night, Yang Ying heads to the cave in secret to pay her respects to Ru Yi under the protection of Li Tong Guang's bodyguards. A group of masked assassins attack them. They were sent there by Royal Consort Chu. Yang Ying can't fend them off. She extinguishes all the torches and hides behind her tomb.
