The drama starts with a suspenseful 1659 year scene, one investigation about the late Crown Prince So Hyun and his relationship with Lee Jang Hyun is on-going, said he was the one who made the Prince life lost it's direction. One witness, who's held in a hospice is questioned about Jang Hyun whereabouts.
Now in 1636y we meet the so said Jang Hyun, our suspicious hero, and Gil Chae, the savage lady, with plans that lacks common sense.
Honestly the first episode has all the vibes of a tale, we see the FL as a woman fighting for her first love, the enmity the other ladies have with her, cause she's playful, very Disney Princess, the colourful clothes and the dance in the middle of the trees, but of course with some slight smut jokes, and a Prince, ML who portrays himself as free spirit man, I can't buy this tho, actually both are more on the behave side that they can admit. Jang Hyun has two friends, one of them has unknown feelings towards him. FL lives almost alone, only having a helper friend, we don't see much about her family, we don't know much about ML family either. Jang Hyun falls in love for Gil Chae at first sight. Anyway, a bittersweet first episode, scaries you in the beginning, soothe u in the middle, and let's you alert in the end.
