Gao Qiang leaves the city to ask Huang She for help, but is rejected. Fei Yan and Fu Ling are pursued while trying to rescue Daozhang Zuo Dun, and get stuck in a narrow gap between buildings, unintentionally deepening their relationship. Gong Zi and Fan Tai Shuai arrive and rescue them, but later discover Gao Qiang tied up outside Ganshou Palace. Gao Qiang is overpowered by Ban Dou’s four wives while attempting a rescue and is captured. Fei Yan pleads with Ban Dou but fails, and the group confesses the truth about the gold to Yuan Jie.
