By 17, Xing Chi had become skilled at cooking, with his long fish noodles winning over his friends. The group, now in high school, split into two schools—Ma Si Yi and Chen Rui, attending No. 1 High School, while the rest went to No. 7 High School. One day, Xie Wang He, distracted in class, boldly proposed his business idea for a "crash course camp", impressing everyone with his entrepreneurial spirit. Meanwhile, Xia Feng Hua, admiring Wang He's ambition, wished she could afford to take her friends to a Li Yu Chun concert, reflecting the era's obsession with TV talent shows. However, at home, both Xie and Xia’s families faced financial struggles as the once-thriving canal shipping industry began to decline, and times grew tougher for everyone.
