Magazine writer Kei visits Okinawa in order to interview Sakura, a biracial woman that alleges she was sexually assaulted by US soldiers. Thinking there's something suspicious about her statement, Kei approaches Sakura and learns that Sakura's grandmother, Yoshi, is an Okinawa war veteran and member of the peace movement.
