A Haunting Paper Bride Tale
I enjoy everything related to paper brides and the tradition of making paper dolls as depicted in film. I love the eerie, thriller-like atmosphere in these stories and how they tie spiritual beliefs and customs into the narrative. So, I greatly enjoyed this watch. Even though I knew going in that there would be a realistic explanation behind the opening conflict and events, the storyline didn’t lose its spooky appeal and remained highly engaging. The execution was also somewhat poetic and poignant at times, which really resonated with me, and the conflict resolution was satisfying.
