Past Lives

It is a love story about a Thai national actor who is so busy with work that he is losing sight of what is important. He runs away and meets the heroine who runs the sweet shop in Japan and begins to rediscover what true happiness is.

These are actually very different dramas, but they share a strong reliance on chemistry and body language over dialogue to convey relationships and feelings. When his boss, Dae Jung, goes missing in a ship accident, the company sends Woo Joo to Osaka to finish his business. On his last day in the city, Woo Joo chases someone looking exactly like Dae Jung to Taisho, an area in Osaka. He ends up losing him, but the sound of a guitar draws Woo Joo to a small bar, Pier 34.
