The Liu family hosts the Emperor’s floral envoy, Jiang Chang Yang and Princess Li You Zhen, who happens to be Liu Chang’s past love. Wei Fang/Mu Dan’s peonies garner much attention, but Chang Yang helps her protect them as a result of their previous encounter. What I like about this drama.....

It's nice to see male actor don't have too much makeup! Especially ML looks very manly and I like his non-whity face 😂 I also love their costumes. They are very colorful and stylish. Ladies' hairstyle are very accurate to history too.

Flourished Peony" is a visually stunning Chinese drama with a strong female lead who defies societal norms. It explores themes of female empowerment and personal growth amidst political intrigue and a captivating romance. While some plot points might be predictable, the drama's beautiful visuals and engaging characters make it a worthwhile watch.
