Shangguan Ya persuades Li Rong to quickly go home and make up with Pei Wen Xuan instead of pushing away everyone who likes her. At home, Li Rong apologizes to her husband. Pei is also apologetic, requesting permission to stay in the study as he needs to tend to his injury at night and is afraid of disturbing her. Meanwhile, Su Rong Qing asks Concubine Rou if she has the intention to make Prince Su the Crown Prince. Justice Minister Xie accuses Li Rong of the attempted assassination of him.
