INSUFFERABLE ML
He's so damn insufferable. Thinks he deserves everything and that the things he likes should be his. Has no regard for other's will or life experiences just an insufferable spoiled brat in general.I am a sucker for bad blood red flag MLs but he's like a 14 y/o stubborn boy. He acts like the Fl 'owes' him love or smth like sure you had a past relationship but stfu boy it's over and it's cause of YOU

Revenge and Hidden Identities. Exceptional Performances in a Difficult Watch.
This was a difficult watch for me. I thought it was a powerful production that really showcased Li Muchen’s talent. Not many actors can portray trauma with the level of authenticity and emotional depth that she brought to the role. Unfortunately, I ended up dropping the drama somewhere between the halfway point and the final stretch because the abuse and emotional intensity became too overwhelming for me. While I appreciated the performances and understood what the story was trying to accomplish, it ultimately crossed a line that made it difficult for me to continue.Themes like these are fairly common in short-form dramas, and both Li Muchen and Deng Kai frequently take on roles with darker or more emotionally challenging dynamics. I’ve found that my enjoyment often depends on how those themes are handled and presented. In this case, the content ultimately exceeded my personal comfort level, even though I could recognize the quality of the performances and storytelling.

Abuse-fest with bad subtitles
I rarely write reviews for dramas that I drop after a few episodes. This one, however brings the notion of “disturbing” to quite a new level.We are expected to believe that the obsessive ML who tortures and abuses the FL actually loves her and that the FL after being thoroughly abused finally sees the light and falls for him.
SERIOUSLY????
How sick must a person be to come up with such nonsense! No amount of pretty costumes and beautiful people in this drama can cover up the ugly truth that this drama is an insult to anyone who has ever suffered s from abuse and promotes a disturbing view of women.
Who would ever want to watch this for entertainment?
