While watching a movie with Lin Chen, Li Xiao Xi realizes that past betrayals have left her deeply distrustful of love. When Xiao Bei proposes to her the next day, she hesitates, saying he does not truly know her yet. Instead of forcing an answer, Xiao Bei agrees to give their relationship more time. Meanwhile, Li Xiao Xi suggests a one-week “test” with Lin Chen, meeting him every day to see if he can restore her faith in relationships.
