Not so good
I did not enjoy it, to cheesee, story is too shallow for the actors. Cant understand the character of lead actress, so much focus on the potatoes even the show is not scientific... feel sad for this, got interested to the story of the couple support than the lead couple...Most of the time, the I get bored it was very hard to finish the episode. Even the story of the ex and his ex wife, i don't his type of character.
the story is a jumble different plots and you don't know where they are coming from or where are their character is going.
And I have to finish this review with 300 characters, I do not know what to say anymore, oh yeah almost forgot, lead couple doesn't have sparks. I hate here behaviour charater, she is not genius or good at anything she i actually redundant, nothing is interesting to her character.................................................................................

Not sure of this drama
I am only a few episodes into this drama. I do not understand why I am having a hard time enjoying this. I think I am having a hard time with the main leads. I feelthere is no chemistry. I really enjoy the ML. Seems to be playing his part well. FL is another story. ais it because there is no chemistry? Is it because in her real life she is already in a relationship and I can’t get past that (which I seem to do.) I will try to get through this but I am not confident at this point. I was hoping this was a good one and would really grab my interest. Darn.

basic
This drama was easily one of the most basic K-dramas I've come across. The comedy felt very average—I didn’t laugh even once—and the acting, particularly from the female lead, often came off as cringeworthy. The male lead, however, was more bearable; I’ve liked him in other dramas, so I was actually excited to see him in this one.As for the plot—well, there wasn’t much of one. The story felt flat and uneventful, and overall, the show was pretty boring. That said, I still found it oddly enjoyable as background noise while getting ready or doing other things. It didn’t require much attention, which in a way, worked in its favor.
Thankfully, the drama was only 12 episodes instead of the usual 16. If they had tried to stretch it out any longer, it definitely would have been a disaster.

Red flags and emotional imature
I just gave it a try. Dropped after 6 episodes and 15 min form the 7th. The drama has a cute second funny and attractive couple.The theme is boring, ML and FL are super Red flags, imature and without emotional basics. Again, a drama with adults that are behaving like adolescents. I don't understand the screenwriter how mature is she, what is the purpose of this drama, how can an actor can play this?!?! They did not heart about growing up and make good example, inteligent, magnetic, visionary dramas?
What is wrong with kdramas in the last years and the examples of couples and lack of maturity... I wonder really what is a real behaviour in korea like adults?!?!

who would have thing ...we would watch a kdrama on potatoes. ....i mean wht a great artwork ..guyss ...what a romantic scene it have ...love the chemistry they got beak ho and mi kyoung 😭😭and I didn't think the exes part ohh my that so funny and more exciting seriously love the work ...it's been so underrated ..i hoope it's more views and it's really worth watching ..
some ep are kind of not boring but yaah it ll help u for next part ...moreover if u love romance or farming and neighbours kinda love trope ..then darling definitely try it 💥💗 ..more love

wasn't for me
Korean romcoms have helped win me over to the genre, but unfortunately this one was just not my thing. Kang Tae Oh is a very talented actor, but we only got a small taste of that in Potato Lab, because the focus seemed to be on his looks, the story was shallow, and his character development weak. I look forward to seeing him in something else soon. There were many side characters played by actors/actresses who are my favorites, but the overacting and ridiculous scenarios got to me. It was just too goofy and too over-the-top, with plot holes thrown in. I hope to see Lee Sun Bin in another role, too, because I just could't stand Mi Kyeong, the constant tantrums, her antagonizing of Baek Ho, forcing others into doing what she wants, overreacting (lying down on the floor in the big company entry to avoid her ex?), and giving her brother and her best friend so much crap over being together. I'm not sure what the ML saw in her at all. It's hard for me to find something funny when it's so clear that it's actors trying to act funny, instead of characters doing funny things/reacting in a way that's both humorous and well-crafted. I didn't finish it, but the show might be a good show for someone who needs something light without much to focus on. And the countryside is beautiful!Was this review helpful to you?
"a highly used concept rebranded" is what I thought of...
The drama is different and a new concept for sure. It's hilarious if you look at it through the bright side. The FL has been through some awful things back where she used to work unlike where she is now, happy, hardworking, and free. The ML is just starting to warm up, he does have the characteristics of a cold-hearted director like in other dramas. Currently, I have enjoyed the past 2 episodes and am waiting for the next episodes due to the cliffhanger (which was huge for an ending for the second episode of course!!!!) and the next episode spoiler. Looking forward to how the story turns out even though the ending can be thought of.The side characters are funny too, they help in bringing chaos and fun which I Love, also I can start feeling the tension between the 2ML and 2FL if I am right.. really excited to see how it turns out fr

Na medida
Esse é aquele drama que tem quase tudo na medida. Te risada, tem amor, tem drama e tem leveza. Se você chegou da escola, do trabalho ou da faculdade cansada, vai nesse que não tem erro.A mensagem é fofa: o tempo cura ou apazigua quase tudo. A prota dá um show de resiliência, a final não é todo mundo que sabe recomeçar.
E seu par romântico aprende a conviver com outras pessoas e a ter seu espaço invadido... hehehe
Os dois juntos são divertidos!
Eu fiquei esperando mais descobertas sobre o passado dele e a relação dele com a empresa. Acho que eu queria uma justificativa pra ele ser tão fiel a empresa, mas nada disso aconteceu.
Sei que a tendência são 12 episódios, mas com 16 a gente fazia a pousada prosperar, fazia um casamento, explicava melhor o pessoal da empresa e mostrava os recomeços deles também... just saying 😉
Mas me rendeu grandes risas! vai time, vai 🥔!

péssimo e uma grande perca de tempo
tem tanta coisa ruim nesse drama que dá até preguiça de escrever uma resenha.resumindo muito, eu posso dizer que simplesmente tudo é muito chato. os personagens têm 30 anos e são extremamente infantis. o casal principal briga o tempo todo por motivos totalmente idiotas e demora para se reconciliar, chegando até a ser meio tóxico na maioria das vezes.
a história é super fraca, desinteressante, e a comédia é tenebrosa. nenhum personagem é minimamente interessante.
demorei 2 meses para terminar de assistir. ia dropar, mas como é dublado, acabei deixando rolar enquanto fazia outras coisas, e mesmo não prestando 100% de atenção conseguiu me irritar ao ponto de simplesmente querer parar de assistir.
sinceramente, eu nem sei por que ainda tento assistir alguma comédia romântica, sendo que a coreia quase nunca acerta. principalmente as da netflix.

Une pincée de romance, un bol de clichés… mais pas grand-chose d’autre...
Alors… par où commencer. J’ai lancé "The Potato Lab" avec zéro attente, je me suis dit “ça va être léger, un peu bizarre sûrement mais why not ?”. J’ai tenu jusqu’au bout grâce à Kang Tae Oh 🥹💘, mais soyons honnêtes... l’histoire manque clairement de substance.Le point de départ est original 👌🏻, un labo de recherche sur la pomme de terre, dans un village de montagne, avec une équipe un peu décalée... mais après deux épisodes, j'ai vite compris que l’intrigue n'allait nul part 🤷🏼♀️. Je trouve qu'il n'y pas vraiment d'évolution émotionnelle. C’est censé être feel good, mais c'est resté trop plat pour m'embarquer.
Concernant la dynamique entre les deux leads... Baek-ho, qui enchaîne les skills comme si il etait boosté à la vitamine C : ancien soldat, chef cuisto, directeur... bref le vrai "couteau suisse" du drama 😅… et Mi-kyung, elle est censée être solaire et attachante... mais à force de la montrer complètement à côté de la plaque dans le boulot, je l'ai trouvé peu crédible et parfois pénible...
Les persos secondaires... Franchement, il y en a beaucoup, ils sont là, mais sans vraie profondeur ni impact... C’est dommage parce qu’il y avait vraiment du potentiel pour créer une vraie dynamique d’équipe, une vraie “found family” comme je kiff bien, mais au final… nada !!! Un vrai gâchis... 😔
Concernant la romance, je l'ai trouvé un peu bancale, précipitée, avec des moments qui sonnaient plus forcés que touchants... 🤷🏼♀️ Elle est là, mais je trouve que ça ne prend pas. Il y a quelques regards, des petites scènes censées créer une tension… mais je n'y ai pas vraiment cru. Ça reste très tiède du début à la fin...
J’ai quand même souri par moments, ça reste léger, et certains gags / situations font le job 👍🏻. L’ambiance générale reste agréable, mais ça ne m'a pas suffit à créer un réel attachement...
Et la fin… je l'ai trouvé trop rapide et sans impact. J'ai fermé le drama comme on ferme un dossier pas très passionnant. Pas de vraie émotion, juste un sentiment de “bon, ok, c’est fini, moué...” 🤔
Bref, ce n’est pas un drama que j'ai détesté, mais il ne m’a pas marquée non plus. J'ai trouvé que "The potato lab" etait un best-of des clichés drama, mais sans la vibe qui les rend habituellement fun ou attachants 😬
Si vous voulez un drama pas prise de tête juste pour reposer votre cerveau, LET'S GO 💪🏻
Mais si vous cherchez de la tension, de l’évolution, de la romance qui fait battre le cœur... passez votre chemin 😭🫶🏻✌🏻

Papitas!!!
El primer capítulo casi hace que abandone este kdrama. Lo empecé a ver porque me encanta el actor principal y estaba haciendo su comeback después del servicio militar. La historia es refrescante, pero conforme fueron avanzando los capítulos fue haciéndose cada vez más predecible, pero aún así logró entretenerme y tenerme esperando a que salieran los capítulos puesto que la ví en emisión. A pesar de que la protagonista tiene una personalidad ‘peculiar’, me gustó la química de los actores. Eso sí, disclaimer, la segunda mitad del último capítulo me pareció una cochinada y no me gustó como no le dieron seriedad al futuro de los protagonistas. Si buscas un drama para pasar el rato y distraerte un poco mientras lo ves considero buena opción este. Ou seja: *comédia romântica de escritório + vizinhos de porta*= tudo que eu AMO MUITO!
Mas aí… o tombo.
Romance entre os protagonistas? *Mal e porcamente*.
Briguinhas no escritório? Ok.
Climão em casa? Tinha!
Mas na hora do pega, do clique, da entrega… o roteirista me foge!
Sério, não sei se o roteirista era virgem, mas toda santa cena com potencial de fogo… pah! desvia!
E olha que o roterista sempre deixava o plot na cara do gol: eram os dois sozinhos… era na chuva… bebados… era num hotel…uma cabana na beira do mar que enfiaram uma criança aleatoria… *Aish*
Teve prensada na parede nível fanfic, e eu aqui do outro lado da tela gritando *”É AGORAAAA”…* e o quê? Beijo na testa.

* E a vila da cidadezinha? Tanta gente com potencial pra atrapalhar o mocinho, fazer feira de cidade rural… criar conflito bom… ignorados!

Mas calma…
Nem tudo foi desastre:
• Aprendi sobre o cultivo da batata.
• Descobri a batata Maroo (vou atrás no hortifruti).
• A protagonista é linda, carismática, vibrante!
• O ator do CEO tem sim uma veia cômica ótima — mesmo que eu tenha sentido vergonha alheia com a dancinha dele lavando o carro e, principalmente, com a cena esquisita junto do colega das forças especiais (química forçada nível água com gás).
*Nota final: 8/10*
*Não odiei…* mas não indico.
É um *”tá visto”,* daqueles que você termina mais pelo orgulho do que pelo enredo.
Um tiquinho melhor que “Pergunte às Estrelas” (e olha que o sarrafo tava baixo…).
