WHY WAS THE STORY LINE SO BORINGG?
story line-nya lumayan bagus dari awal ke tengah alurnya jelas, dan ga vepet bikin bosen. tapi masuk ke bagian akhir, chemistry nya berkurang, acting nya kaku dan ga biasanya moon ga young dan choi hyun wook se kaku ini, terkesan maksa banget awal awal masih enjoyable, ke akhir jadi super boring.
udah berusaha tetep lanjut, tapi ya ga dapet feel nya agak kecewa karna ini drama overrated banget, dari segi alur emang kurang sih, tapi untuk visual, ost nya oke banget, suka salfok outfit nya juga bagus, dan ga maksa.

Actually pretty cute
I decided to watch it spur of the moment and I enjoyed it. It has been awhile since I've seen a kdrama with a relatively non complicated storyline, meaning that it was a simple and easy watch, no real mysteries or big questions searching for answers.Cute love story between the FL & ML lead, this isn't a spicily romantic drama so the romance is sweet and warm rather than fiery and hot. In the words of the FL's nickname for the ML, truly each other's other half.
I know there are some still negative opinions about the grandmother by the end of the drama and while true she is not very likeable, I still felt more sorry for her than anything else.

Refreshing light hearted drama
I didn’t expect to like this drama as much as I did. I’m glad I didn’t look at the reviews before starting, as I’m sure I would’ve been put off. It ended up being a surprisingly fun drama, and although it’s nothing super special, I did think it felt refreshing and would often find myself grinning at the screen. I started watching for moon ga young and kept watching for the yearning, enemies to lovers, and wholesome romance. At times I did question the chemistry of the main couple, but they ended up being really sweet and I did enjoy their romance. The second couple were so cute and I really enjoyed all their scenes. I would definitely recommend giving this drama a go, if you’re looking for something light-hearted to make you laugh :)) <3Was this review helpful to you?
Enjoyable but could be improved

Miscasting can mar the story
This is only my opinion...I felt that Choi Hyun Wook was miscast as the ML. I have enjoyed him in other things, but he looked too young, he acted too young, and his ridiculous hand gestures were lifted (stolen) from Park Seo Joon in What's Wrong With Secretary Kim. Park was able to pull off the exaggerated movements, Choi was not.
I love Mun Ka Young, and she was wonderful here, but I couldn't help compare this with True Beauty, and My Dearest Nemesis lost.
Toward the end of the drama, my mind was still dwelling on their awful first kiss, with her open eyes, not moving, etc. Just awful. In general their chemistry was lacking.
The second couple was cute, but she was kind of a mess. She couldn't make up her mind if she wanted to be with him or not. I don't care if the woman or the man initiates it, I'm not a fan of friends with benefits.
The ending was pretty lackluster. It felt like filler after all the problems were solved.
You might wonder why I even rated it this high. It was cute, and the main couple had some cute scenes together.

When I went to research this k drama I saw a lot of reviews about it so I was in doubt whether I saw it or not. I can say that I saw it and it was a good decision. I won't say it was the best drama ever, but people are very critical sometimes. It's a simple drama with a good story and without too much winding up. The main characters have chemistry, yes. I won't say it was something absurd but they fit well with each other. The couple's story was well developed and they managed to overcome all adversities and be happy. The secondary couple also liked especially the male character. Personally, the female character annoyed me a lot and I think they should have developed their story a little more because I got the feeling that any doubt on her part they will separate. Overall I liked it and recommend it to those who want a simple and light drama to watch.Was this review helpful to you?

i get that it’s a noona drama and i’m usually rlly a fan but jooyeon is a bit too emotionally immature; like yes, he was forced to grow up early bc of his father’s death, but he’s immature in a way that’s just plain rude. in the early eps (1-4), he’s very asshole-y towards sujeongand then retracts it later—and i understand that it was to gain dominance as a ceo and be taken seriously because he could be looked down upon on as he is quite young—but it gets pretty repetitive and he clearly does not seem to have any character development. i also don’t know if choi hyunwook’s too good at acting like a youngster trying hard to seem mature, or if this role’s just not for him, but i really can’t see past his highschool roles with his character’s styling(?) and personality.i could have judged this too early so i’m willing to give it another try because i really like moon gayoung!!

passing by a drama hangover? watch this
The first few episodes gave me that classic 2016–2019 drama vibe, but then the plot shifted. There’s something we can all agree: Baek Sujeong ATE! It’s not a bad pick if you’re getting out of a drama slump and want something easy to watch. Juyeon’s geandma just pissed everyone off.//
O começo tem muito uma vibe de dorama das antigas mas achei que o plot ficou meio perdido depois de alguns episódios. Algo que temos que concordar é que a Sujeyong serviu muito, queen! A avó do Juyeon? Chata.

Shallow and Disappointing
My Dearest Nemesis is another regular K-drama that follows classic overused pattern of romance that we frequently come across many korean dramas. While I was expecting something high from Choi Hyun Wook due to his recent selection of dramas, this drama is totally forgettable and full of clichés.To begin with, I didn't sense any actual chemistry between the leads in any scene. The plot was lacklustre as it followed common trope of enemies to lovers, but in this drama, it was too quick.
The geek side of the male character felt cringey and awkward, instead of cute and endearing. While the drama had some good moments, the rest were nothing special and even at 12 episodes, it felt a long stretch. Better watch 100s of better dramas in the same genre out there.

The beginning of the show was really awkward and lowkey took me a while to get through. However, once I got past that scenes the pacing of the show was going pretty good but eventually it just felt like we were getting nowhere. Like the whole over looming identity reveal just took way too long to happen in my open, just for it not even cause that much drama. Like it felt really pointless, plus to whole concept of it also felt dumb. However, I really liked the concept of the show, and it really had cute moments which is what made it enjoyable but also there were many things that just made it drag. To be honest the only reason I really finished it is because I love the actor who plays the ML.Was this review helpful to you?

They didn't commit that hard to the video game background of their relationship, relegating it to the introduction and the reveal is basically resolved in a single episode, #9. It is not a bad show by any means but the premise is basically just set dressing for a formulaic office romcom, which has been done better dozens of times. The main couple also lacks any sort of chemistry with each other. It's a decent show to watch if you just need something to watch but it shouldn't be given any priority if you have a backlog of dramas to watch.Was this review helpful to you?
Forgettable but sweet rom-com, ending + relationship dynamic could have been improved
I truly had a lot of fun watching this rom-com : it had all the feel of a classic romantic drama featuring rich heir and hardworking poor heroine trope, combined with a dash of noona romance. Some recipes never grow old on me... Having said that, there are certainly a couple of things that I would have like to see handled differently in the story.I mostly regret the overall trajectory of the grand-mother and the direction the scenario decided to take that character towards the end of the series. It made no sense and felt really too easy and unrealistic. It is not necessarily realism that matter the most for a colorful rom-com adapted from a webtoon...But the way the script handled the situation with the grand-mother was ultra frustrating to me. And while I loved and found very cute the relationships between the main characters from enemies-to-lovers, I would have liked to see more variety in their dynamic. The heroine is very caring with the main male lead, but sometimes it felt a bit exaggerated how she treated him like a child. The characterization of the male lead is definitely in line with the numerous childish / needy / traumatized chaebol encountered in rom-coms...But honestly, even if I found a lot of their moments very cute as the heroine was healing the inner child of the hero, I would not have minded more variety, maturity and nuance in some scenes.
Despite those few flaws, there are a lot to love in the series. Not only the main romance is super cute, but I was also very much into the secondary romance. I also truly appreciated the overall production value, with the colorful sets featuring the hobbies of the hero. I enjoyed quite a lot the OST, especially the rock band songs: it was such a fun and youthful vibe. I started it for its main cast and they did not disappoint : Choi Hyun Wook did an excellent job with his character who is utterly adorable in his love with Mun Ka Young's character. Her acting is solid as well as her character remains very endearing all along the story. Among the cast, I was also very impressed by Go Chang Seok who plays the father of the heroine, as he was able to touch me with very little dialog and scenes. Truly, one of the best aspect of the show!
I would recommend this to people looking for a cute, relatively classical rom-com. It is using the very well-know recipe from many drama, with the rich Chaebol and the hardworking heroine, with a touch of noona romance and of pop culture with the geek aspects. I regret some narrative choice for the ending and wished for more variety in the dynamic of the main couple but overall it was matching my expectations in terms of cute rom-com.
